Tolle Wohnung, sauber und schöne Betten
In jedem Raum gab es einen eigenen Fernseher . Für manche bestimmt toll.

Cons:

Kein. Spülmittel und leider keine Herdplatte. Die Kaffeemaschine ist für einzelne Tassen etwas ungeeignet. Leider gab es keinen normalen Esstisch.

The apartment was spacious. The amenities included were sufficient.

Cons:

This is not a boutique hotel even though it is labelled such. I would have given a better rating had it been listed as simply an apartment. If you expect the service and cleanliness of a boutique hotel, this is not it! Otherwise fine.

Pros:

My room (The Bad and Boujee Suite) was so comfortable. A very big and comfortable Bed, enough sockets to charge my phone and other stuff, a little kitchen to cook something (with plates, pans, forks, spoons, dishwasher, microwave and so on), more than enough space in the shower and so much more. The check-in was very easy (getting the codes for the doors before entering the hotel via e-mail). I really like the westlake and when there will be sometime another possibility to go to Toronto, I will book the Westlake again. It is a little bit outside from Toronto, but with the streetcar and the Go-Trains, you need not much time to get in the center of Toronto.

Awesome stay!
Pros:

I have been staying at this location 3 times in 2 years

Gross and disappointing

I booked a night's stay as a brief retreat for my soon to be wife and I. With a newborn baby, a wedding next week, and a new house a week later, this was our last chance to do something together for some time. I went well out of budget to choose The Westlake because I wanted to treat the woman I love to something nice. Boy did I chose wrong. Upon arrival we were greeted by 1-800 junk carrying a mattress down the stairs that was filled with what looked like blood (Westlake staff said it was coffee....). Once entered our room it at first looked nice, clean, and well appointed but that initial impression quickly faded. The carpets are stained, the toilet paper dispenser fell apart, the hand towel hanger was broken, mold peppered the shower ceiling, various stains were present on the bed frame and the TV remote was falling apart. What a massive and gross disappointment. I emailed The Westlake staff the next morning searching for a refund and a chance to apologize/redeem themselves before I wrote this review. They apologized with a lie when they said all of these issues have been fixed! Either it just so happened these exact things were fixed right after we left without my email prompting or they changed the carpet, fixed the mold, replaced the fixtures, replaced the TV remote and did a thorough clean (like they clearly have not done previously) or, and more logically, they lied. For my inconvenience they offered a 10% discount which I told them was good enough, I'd rather warn others not to waste their hard earned money. THIS HOTEL IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
