Great staff and lovely view!
Pros:

The staff were amazing and the area is peaceful and beautiful and the breakfast area was cozy and quiet.

Pros:

Super localisation dans un petit village tout mignon et hyper calme. La dame qui m’accueillit était très gentille. Elle m’a donné des explications sur la région. Comme il y avait peu de clients (fin de saison), le restaurant était fermé mais elle a proposé de faire des pizzas à la place. Si besoin, il y a une cuisine pour préparer son propre repas.

Cons:

La décoration de la chambre pourrait être améliorer et la lampe de chevet ne fonctionnait pas.

Calm place that needs more attention
Pros:

We had a room at ground floor which was a bit strange but acceptable. It had a nice view and was very calm.

Cons:

A room is a bit obsolete and needs a renovation which should include also putting air conditioning. The hotel itself is old but well maintained. I would suggest also informing guests on dinner availibility in advance as thereis no alternatives around. Breakfast is poor comparing what is offered in similar hotels.

Frühstück gut, allerdings sehr früh, herrlicher Ausblick aus den Zimmern Richtung mehr.

Pros:

Mooie ligging in charmant dorpje.

Cons:

Ontbijt stelde, voor Noorse begrippen, niet veel voor.
De kok was op vakantie en het diner bestond uit een pizza. Er was geen alternatief.

Comfortable & Welcoming Spot in Jelsa
Pros:

The location is perfect - a short walk from Jelsa, a beautifully preserved village, on the shores of the fjord.
We arrived late and Cecelia was very helpful in facilitating our check in. The beds were very comfortable and the shower (and the shower gel!) was excellent.
Cecilia provided us with a tasty and filling breakfast in the morning and told us lots about the history of the village. Best of all, she brought us on a visit to the stunning church in the village and was very patient with answering our many questions! You must visit the church if you’re in Jelsa…it’s really not to be missed.

Sehr schön, mit Koch im Urlaub kulinarisch verbesserungsfähig.
Pros:

Traumhafte Lage, sehr freundliches Personal. Schönes Bad, bequeme Betten.

Cons:

Das Hotel wurde auch wegen der in der Beschreibung genannten sehr guten Küche gewählt. Leider war der Koch bei unserem Aufenthalt im Urlaub, deswegen gab es Abends nur aufgepeppte TK-Pizza für fast 200Kr p.P. Ausweichmöglichkeiten nicht vorhanden da es im Ort und im kleineren Umkreis kein weiteres Restaurant, Imbiss o.ä. gibt. Das Frühstück war sehr übersichtlich und bestand u.a. aus am Vortag gemachten Rührei.

Only one dinner menu available. Was told that dinner soda choice was old, not advisable. No other option offered. We had a «suite» - very hot due sun .
