A nice country pub and good large rooms.Dont get room 1 next to kitchen.We were room 4.
Good restaurant and food menu with outside seating area.
The hotel is inclusive of breakfast.When we went to breakfast they said the cook was sick so no cooked breakfast and we went elsewhere.We should have asked for a 20 pound refund.
In other reviews this has also happened.
As we were the only ones staying there it is obvious that they didn't bring the chef in for cost purposes.
Not a good strategy and let's them down big time.

Good range of pub food, lovely garden and great views. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were so helpful.
There was a bath and a good sized shower in the bathroom.
It was quite remote and difficult to find as there was no low sign from the direction we came from.

I have never met such a lovely bunch of people. There were quite a lot of different people who served us and everyone was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and reasonably priced and freshly cooked. Everyone was made to feel welcome by staff and locals alike. The bed had feather/down quilt and pillows and very comfortable. There were one or two minor points which could be improved on but if we were in Somerset again we would definitely stay here.
There were just a few things that I thought were missing. A breakfast menu on the table, the condiments needed replenishing daily and the jam and marmalade selection would be better if they were on each table. These are just minor points but what I would expect from any B&B
Very large room (almost like a mini suite) with a private outside space. Big bathroom and lovely walk in shower.
The narrow country lanes getting to the Farmers Arms!
Very large room. Quiet with rooms some distance from the bar area in the same building. Access to the rear of the building from our room through a door onto decking.
Not easy to find down narrow lanes but that does mean a quiet area.

Wasn't 4 star, more like a 2/3 star, room wasn't served, cobs webs, smelt terrible of dog, needed a clean, carpet wasn't hoovered, not great
