Beautiful town and good hotel
Pros:

It was very comfortable and clean. The views from the front of the hotel look over the town and the other side of the valley.
This did mean that the walk back from the town was a good fitness workout. There is a pedestrian path that takes you down into Trier (also regular buses if you don’t fancy the walk).
The town of Trier was lovely, full of good bars and restaurants. The cathedral is very imposing and we were lucky to have good weather allowing us to sit outside and enjoy good wine near the cathedral.
Coming from the UK, I was struck by how clean and tidy the town and surrounding areas were (which is a sad fact of the UK now).
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but the breakfast was good and worth the €14.
You can get a cold beer or glass of wine from reception.
All in all, I would thoroughly recommend Trier and would stay at this hotel again.

Cons:

Shower pressure wasn’t great and the temperature fluctuated a bit. But nothing that was dangerous.

Pros:

Genialer Blick über Trier, aber doch schnell erreichbar. Wirklich nettes Personal, nicht nur "gespielt" sondern wirklich herzlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Super Ausblick auf Trier. Man muss eine gute Kondition und gut zu Fuß sein, wenn man vom Petrisberg zur Stadt laufen möchte! Es fahren auch Busse, abends fährt nur die Nr. 88. Einstieg am besten von der Haltestelle "Gartenfeldstraße" aus.
Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und lecker.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber. Vielen Dank! Gaby

Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr ausreichend gedeckt, alles was das herz begehrt. Gefreut hat mich besonders, dass es auch Hafermilch gab. Die Lage ist auch wunderschön. Egal, ob Weit- oder Waldblick. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich und wirklich nett. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber gewesen. Auch, dass es eher rustikal als modern ist, ist sehr gut angekommen.

Cons:

Leider dürfen Hunde nicht mitgebracht werden, außer es handelt sich um Assistenzhunde. Hier wird auch keine Ausnahme gemacht, was man verstehen kann. Ist trotzdem schade, weil die Lage auch für Hunde genial schön ist.

Cons:

Um detalhe que poderia melhorar é aumentar o tempo da recepção. Quando chegamos não havia ninguém. Mas isso é um detalhe frente à grande satisfação geral.
