Property cancelled the booking. Messaged me 2 days before to ask me to cancel it on my behalf (just before the free cancellation) as they now didn’t have space. Obviously everything was more expensive just 2 days before so I said I wasn’t cancelling it and they replied saying ‘it’s only 1 night’ save yourself the hassle and don’t bother booking here as it seems this isn’t the first time they’ve done it
Precio.. ubicación... trato muy amable
No se nos facilitaron toallas ...
Nada
Había ruido noche, niños, aislacion
No contaba con toalla
Me gustó el silencio y que estuviera todo muy limpio.
Que no hubiera shampoo, que no tuviera un enchufe cerca de la cama y que no sirvieran desayunito.
I love my room. It’s spacious, has big windows, is spotless, and warmed with a heater! Claudia, the lady owner, is also nice and friendly. The house is within walking distance of the center and just a stone's throw from the bus station. the house has a lookup rooftop where you can see your surroundings.
The breakfast was great — a boiled egg, warm bread with ham, a banana, and hot, fragrant tea. I had to catch an early bus, and the owner was very kind to prepare it for me in advance. The house is very beautiful and tastefully decorated.
The room I stayed in didn't have a heater, so it was a bit cold.
Cozy home stay, hot water in the hob at all times and wonderful host.
The location was blocks from the train station.
Got very cold at night (asked for a second blanket). 3 feet from the kitchen stove was frigid (hats and gloves cold). a space heater would have great.
We stayed here every night for our visits to Torres del Paine, mostly because it’s a 2-minute zombie walk from the bus station, and honestly, that alone makes it worth it.
Private room? Yes Clean? Yes Wi-Fi? Surprisingly decent. All the essentials were there.
But let’s talk vibes: downstairs is where the kitchen lives… and dies. It’s dark, gloomy, and the stove might actually be an elaborate puzzle or sentient being, because no one could figure it out.
Upstairs? That’s where the family lives, and some of you do too, basically. It’s cozy in the “you’ll know their child's nap schedule and probably their favourite telenovela” kind of way. Lovely people, but it’s not exactly quiet.
Great place for a night or two, especially if your main goal is catching buses and catching sleep (with headphones).
The location is perfect if you plan to take the bus to either the national park or El Calafate since it is only 10 minutes walk.
There is no way you can rate the rooms properly since the sizes and comfort of the rooms are very different. I was given two different rooms during my stay in different days. You do not know which one the owner will give to you. Also, there was no heating in the room I stayed but it was quite cold at night. There was heating in some other rooms.
Our room was basically in the kitchen. People cooking until very late at night and others began cooking at 6am the next morning. Very loud
