Beautiful place and rooms, would definitely stay again and recommend!
Pros:

The building was secure and my room felt safe. The building has been fully renovated and it is beautiful. Breakfast was served right on time at 8:30 AM and was a great mix of options. The rooms were so clean and so spacious, I loved it. The room was well lit and warm/cool enough, highly recommend. Excellent place to stay!

Cons:

If you get there later, not great options for restaurants as Carrick is a small place so have to plan ahead, not terrible.
Also, I had the room up the stairs and right at the front of the building (I think 2). The parking lot (front) side windows (5 of them, so nice!) had beautiful blinds but the street side had no blinds, just sheer curtains and buildings are really close across the street, easy to see in. I made that suggestion on my way out.

Pleasant an clean
Pros:

The Carrick gate is well located at the entrance of the town and easy to find. The rooms were modern, clean and bright and so was the rest of the house. All in all however a pleasant and nice experience

Cons:

The breakfast is continental only making it a little basic for irish standards. The rooms, while modern and clean, lacked things such as a desk and a mini fridge, which was a little cumbersome.

Lovely modern décor, a spacious and airy room with a pretty river view . Very acceptable continental breakfast. Very efficient but friendly family who own/manage the accommodation.

Everything we wanted/needed and more
Pros:

Stayed here as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children in the Glen room. This place was brilliant. The kitchenette facilities were a lovely extra touch, self service breakfast was delicious. Rooms warm and spacious. Beds really comfy. Definitely recommend and we’d definitely return.

Excellent base for exploring West Donegal. 2 bars and a shop within 1 minute walking distance.
Pros:

Spotlessly clean throughout. Continental breakfast facilities very good. House looks gorgeous and was decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Cons:

No full soundproofing between rooms as yet so sometimes there can be some overheard noise, but I know this is planned in the near future.
