We were lucky to be upgraded to a room with a view and with a spa, the view was beautiful and we got to use the spa which was lovely! Even without the upgrade it would have been great, very good location and it had everything we needed :)

Ok for a night but unlikely to stay again
Pros:

Location is fantastic, beautiful views of Hawke’s Bay and out into the Pacific Ocean

Cons:

Sound proofing is poor, road noise is intrusive. A $300 credit card hold is extremely high for the value of the stay and amenities.
The bed was not very comfortable, just feels more like budget accommodation than middle range.
