The view
I was surprised that this was a 5 start hotel, as I have stayed in many hotels and motels over my career and this was not up to the usual 5 star standard. The bathroom was a very sterile environment - minimal complimentary products, nowhere to place your toiletries and everything tiled. The bed sheets didn't quite fit the bed properly and I needed to be adjusted several times each night. I stayed for 3 nights.
Great location, friendly staff, room had everything we needed.
Room was on bottom floor next to road so was was quite noisy at night with cars going past.
Location
Dated decor - room finishes were tired and getting old.
The room was comfortable and had an amazing view. The location was great and we enjoyed our stay there. Right across the road from the foreshore so you could walk along the walkways, through the parklands on the lawn or walk by the beach.
The fact they could not guarantee breakfast.
The location was great

Fabulous looking over the esplanade/ocean.
Everything was comfortable from the couch to the bed. Lovely spacious room . Mostly sound proof with a little traffic noise in the morning, but otherwise very quiet. We would definitely choose to stay again.
Can't think of anything we didn't like.
Relatively close to town
Old beaten up facility. First floor faced busy loud road.
Location and week equipt
Nothing
Great location, view and spa bath. Nice balcony which we couldnt use due to wind
It was a bit dated. But having said that, the 'art deco' platform lift was quite an experience
Location
Initial check in
Location closest to Mclean Park. I liked the lift as it was on 3rd floor.
Due to unexpected health issue I will ask for ground floor room next time.
