Anglers Riverfront Motel

It is old and needs some updates. No places close to eat. The lady there was friendly.

Cozy room and very friendly staff ! Restaurant it great food but prices was little high but definitely good food. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Dirty and unclean rooms, freezer of thebfridge notntaken care of. No cofee no shampoo, no food nearby, besides their restaurant

The lady checking us gave us a look like we shouldn’t be there. The stairwell to our room level was filthy. Our room smelt of damp and the lack of care and attention to cleanliness was obvious. I turned the fan over the bed on and got showered with dirt it was lucky we didn’t have our open suitcase on the bed as we would have had to laundered everything in it. The bed cover had small stains on it and we wore shoes to walk around as the carpet was dirty.
The service by the young lady in the restaurant was great and the food was pretty good. However what hotel bar closes at 8pm when guests are willing to have a few more drinks.
The complimentary coffee was so bad we watered the dirt with it.
So spend some money and refurbished a bit and train your cleaning staff how to clean.

I loved the fact that it was right there on White River and the view was awesome! Also the convenience of having a store and restaurant right there at your finger tips was an extra bonus.

The property as a whole was fine. There was a “back porch” overlooking the river which was nice, but it was obvious that the mowers had been through and the grass shavings coated the whole porch area. We had to clean off the swing so we could sit on it and enjoy the view.

The river being right outside your window is nice. There is a littlw ba k patio area to sit at. The room wasnt very clean but overall it was a nice stay

This motel has seen better days. It is deteriorated. Quality of towels poor. King size bed with queen size top sheet. It was quiet and the view of the river was lovely. Restaurant was decent. Staff was polite and helpful.

The rooms were small, didn’t offer any WiFi, no ice machine. I will no t stay there again

Nice river front motel that offers a convenience/gift shop, dining and bar area as well. Pleasant staff and beautiful surroundings.

Staying at Anglers was like staying with family. Staff was crazy fun. Food in the restaurant was amazing. The room was cool and comfortable. Every room has a great view of the river. We used the grills outside and the picnic table. We also walked down to the river and swam. Is this place the hilton? No, so if thats what you are expecting for a hundred dollars a night then you will be disappointed. If you are looking for AC and a bed thats made of clouds on the white river with a restaurant a hundred feet away that has the absolute best pina coladas and friendly staff, then this is the place to stay.

Close to the restaurant and river view. Floors seemed new. New comforters. Bed mattress needs replaced. Broken springs at edge of bed. Missing security lock on front door; just on door knob.

Be sure to check the restaurant hours of operation. It is not open 7 days a week. Otherwise the room is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. We also did the 8 mile float trip.

It was a good stay, everything went good.
