Pros:

Very close to the slopes, pity the lift closest to the lodge doesn't operate everyday, but that's not the lodge's fault.

Cons:

Pity they don't have onsen, apparently it broke and they didn't fix it

Would stay here again
Pros:

Great location, three minute walk to lifts. Five-ten minute walk to any major food places. Twelve-Fifteen minute walk to the most popular grocery shop.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Complimentary breakfast was good.
Room was clean enough.
Games on the third floor eg. table tennis were also cool.

Cons:

Dry room is obviously damp but everything, obviously, dried overnight. And you're not going here to stay in the dry room haha. So in other words, this is a stretch as everything was cool.

Wonderful
Pros:

You have variety of breakfast options and were so delicious. You can get to the ski resort within a few minutes which is so convenient. Love it.

Nice modern hotel with a very western feel.
Pros:

Very modern feel and the dry room was huge.

Cons:

The hot breakfast was really good but for the price we paid I would have expected more and more options.

Friendly and convenient accommodation in Tsugaike-Kogen
Pros:

The breakfasts were some of the best I've had in Japan, with fresh omlettes cooked to order and pancakes daily. The beds were comfortable. Proximity to the lifts meant the lodge is ski-in, ski-out. Staff are accommodating taking guests into town and picking them up for free.

Cons:

It can be a tricky place to drive into, especially in a mid-sized bus or van, and some transport companies will insist on dropping off or picking up at a bus stop in town. The room was a bit untidy when we arrived, with food left in the fridge from the previous occupants. The lodge onsen was not in operation during our stay.

A skiers dream being right next to Tsugaike resort. Walking distance to the centre of Tsugaike with plenty of restaurant
Pros:

Right next to Tsugaike ski resort, literally skied right to the front door.
Spacious rooms with good facilities.
Breakfast is amazing with a lot of different foods.
Staff picked me up dropped me off Tsugaike bus stop for free which is amazing.

Exceptional value for money
Pros:

The lodge is in a great area with close proximity to the slopes and a range of restaurants that are all walking distance. The facilities are very good with a fully equipped shared kitchen, sitting areas and dry room for snow gear storage. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally good with a great range of food each morning.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Spacious room and shared areas. Good value for money. And breakfast was nice!

Cons:

Staff were friendly and helpful but could be hard to find. Building a bit dated. Location was great for the slopes (ski in/out) however a bit further away from the dining options / main part of town.

Well, there was nothing I didn't like, they were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was great, has a real friendly vibe about it. Position was awesome next to chairlift. Cheers and thankyou

Brilliant - we would definitely stay again and have recommended to friends who are going to Japan.
Pros:

John and all the staff were absolutely brilliant - so friendly, helpful and we were very grateful that we were able to be collected from the train station and then dropped off again when we were leaving. They also gave us advice prior to us arriving when we had some questions about train tickets - much appreciated.
The breakfast was really lovely, especially the omelettes. The breakfast seating area also had beautiful views.
The location is so fantastic - a short walk to go skiing!
We had two rooms for a family of 5 adults and they were very gomfortable.
Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
