Very friendly staff. Room was clean and easily big enough for a solo traveller, as I was. Shower was fine after a few fiddles with the control.
Wifi was very iffy in my room. In bar area it was ok but in my room it was non existent.
The hotel is in a really good location. The lady on reception for your check in was so friendly and welcoming. All the staff we encountered were lovely. The room was a bit out dated but comfortable. Wouldn’t want to really stay longer than one night.
The live entertainment was a bit phoenix nights for us. We fully appreciate it’s part of the hotels charms but it isn’t for everyone.

The location is very good.
Upon an early arrival, we were greeted by a lovely lady.
She said our room was ready. I had asked via an email for a seaview room ( £20 extra by cash, which we paid).
On entering the room (309), we noticed the floor in the room had not been vacuumed. We reported that to the receptionist. She kindly said she would get that addressed. It did appear that the room had been vacuumed, however, I found a scrunched up cigarette packet on the floor ( underneath the dressing table). This was also reported to a different lady at reception.
We had one towel in the bathroom. I requested more, and that was resolved.
After having paid £20 for a seaview room, I would have expected to see the sea. No, the double glazed window was so bad with condensation between the glazing, that we couldn't get the benefit of the seaview. I reported that to the receptionist on duty, and was told she would address that with the manager. We haven't heard anything about a refund for this as yet.
When due to leave, I checked the cupboards and wardrobes (as you do), and found a pair of old shoes at the top of the wardrobe. I then took them to the receptionist on our departure.

The hotel was central..staff were very friendly. The room was very clean..breakfast was very nice too.the room had a lovely sea view too.

Breakfast and dinner was lovely. Staff attentive and friendly. Hotel location is perfect and we had a room overlooking the sea.
Entertainment each evening. The comedy magician, Peter Baffles was brilliant.

The shower was old,with a broken shower head holder and the water pressure and heat dropped constantly. The shower mat was disgusting and the room generally had lots of dust, stains on the walls and paint flakes falling from the ceiling.
