Accueil un peu froid. Timidité ?
The place is spotted away from any noise so it's a great place if you want to charge batteries. The room is beautiful, clean an comfortable. Great food and helpful staff.
No card payment available, just cash.
Home made cuisine
a bit far from city center
Pros : the staffs were nice, and the complementary (local) breakfast was nice.
Cons : The location is not great - if you are visiting Mandu for the first time, you may find difficulty to locating this property!
The cleanliness is not great, the towels are not properly cleaned, so are the bedsheets (few strains here and there).
The toilets are not properly cleaned either.
The staff was extremely hospitable and kind.
The rooms were very cute and tidy
Food was delicious and qualitative.
A perfect home away from home.
This is a quaint attempt to replicated a tribal house with earthen walls , rough finish and Dung floors outside on the balcony and its a nice change from the usual concrete. Amenities are upto date and clean with wrt the washrooms and in room facilities like a kettle and supply of tea coffee . 2 cottages are airconditioned and the one to go for ideally. They have dormitory sleeping and a large family room on offer. Food is home cooked and vegetarian. Ideal to have own transport as its a bit outside the main hustle and bustle. The night sound and light show is not to be missed and good idea is to get a guide to show you the sites . Great for a one nights stay with a day spent exploring before moving onto Maheshwar.
Its newly started and run as a one man show so that can be a bit of a problem when full. Food should include some non veg fare like eggs for breakfast . Some housekeeping could be looked into as a fellow traveller felt the sheets where not changed.
My room was spacious with fan and non-ac. Breakfast was included and very good. The manager Krishna cooked me dinner which also was very good. This small homestay is situated in the calm countryside less than a km from the town center, an easy walk. Krishna was very helpful and nice, it was a good place to be.
Everything was ok and as expected
