Country Lane book via booking ONLY

This wasn't a problem for me but may be good for someone who prefers a lock on doors, but there are no lock systems in place (front door and room doors)
I found the front door unlocked all day convenient as I didn't have to worry about any keys going missing and if I was concerned about my belongings I had a car to lock my personal things in.

I booked the accommodation a day earlier specifically because I was arriving early in the morning and wanted to enter earlier the next day. Even then, I was told I couldn’t come before 7am and had to wait outside for around an hour. I understand check-in rules exist, but considering the room was already booked in advance, I expected at least a little flexibility.

The main gate/door was locked after 10pm. People usually book these types of accommodations because they are travelling and exploring outside, so coming back later at night is pretty normal. Having the gate locked felt inconvenient and stressful.

The host also constantly reminded us what to do and what not to do, which made the environment feel less comfortable and relaxing.

At one point we were told our car was leaking oil and were asked to park on the gravel, but later it turned out it wasn’t actually oil.

Also, the TV shown in the room photos is basically unusable. There’s no proper setup, no remote, and nothing really to watch on it, so don’t book expecting entertainment from the TV because it seems more for display than actual use.

Overall the stay felt restrictive and not relaxing if you’re someone who wants freedom while travelling. this may not be the best option.

The host was exceptionally strange personality
She didn’t allow me to cook my food or use stove or oven, she said house rules
She has appalling attitude like in the morning once she waked up that means everyone must wake up , she starts to open doors and close them hard making lots of terrible noise to force whoever sleeping to wake up
She always humming as if she is a famous singer
She tells you if there are meetings with others I must disappear from the lounge/ dinning and outside area and must stay in my room
She watch tv and dies not like to see me watching tv , and much more catastrophic things blowing others minds

Im Zimmer wäre ein kleiner Nachttisch schön. Es gab nichts abzustellen für Glas, Brille oder Telefon. Handtücher muss man selbst mitbringen. Ist aber angesichts des günstigen Preises verschmerzbar ist.
