A beautiful place to linger, with a great view of the lake and the mountains.
Pros:

A typical 5-star hotel in the local category. Communication via booking.com chat for the airport shuttle was excellent. The hotel is large, and as expected, large events (weddings) take place in the background or in the side wings. The rooftop terrace is lovely in the evening. It offers a truly relaxing atmosphere, especially when you can hardly escape the usual, deafening city noise elsewhere. This is a little oasis. As expected, the breakfast isn't geared towards Europeans, who might have particularly high expectations. But it's perfectly adequate. You just have to be prepared for that. Typical of the local cuisine, and good. The buffet dinner was good; the terrace is inviting.

I would have liked and expected more from the overall service and attention, especially regarding waiting times. There's room for improvement. The middle managers should actually get involved and not just be glued to their phones.

The spa also made a good impression; the range of services was internationally oriented.

Regarding the room, I can't give it a positive overall rating. I found sharp steel nails in the floor/door thresholds, which the maintenance staff hadn't properly removed or even driven in. There was a risk of injury. As a guest, I shouldn't have to complain about something like that. And that sums up the overall criticism: so many managers are running around, but practically none of them are paying attention. This is a flaw that manifests itself in so many details (crooked, uneven, wobbly) that it would make this review far too long. There's definitely room for improvement. The Lakend should address this. I wish them the best of luck!

Would I recommend staying there? - Absolutely! It's a really lovely place!

I enjoyed my stay here, the property is over priced and not comensurate.

Cons:

I asked them to decorate my room long before and nothing was done. There was no message on the cake even when I mentioned. The bathroom was smelly. We paid 20K for one night and the room wasn't spacious at all. The staff took too long to respond. We needed to remind them to give us water multiple times. They didn't clean the room. The staff wasn't that helpful.
