I asked them to decorate my room long before and nothing was done. There was no message on the cake even when I mentioned. The bathroom was smelly. We paid 20K for one night and the room wasn't spacious at all. The staff took too long to respond. We needed to remind them to give us water multiple times. They didn't clean the room. The staff wasn't that helpful.

First day during the breakfast we found a paper clip in the idli (Food) . Next day everyone (all 7) family members were sick with bad stomach that included 4 adults and 3 kids. The room we were given had the balcony just opposite to a garbage dump. I don't know why its rated 5 stars as there are bare minimum facilities and even those are barely functioning. And prices are sky high as if it were a real 5 star hotel. Stay away as there is no reason to be here.

Away from the bustle of the city hub and Lake Pichola, the location feels quiet, calm, and refreshing.
The New Year’s Eve gala dinner was very well organised, which was much appreciated. Hospitality and entertainment was great.
“Pizzeria by the lake” (one of the restaurants on the property) served some great Italian food options and the service was good as well. We ended up dining there twice during our stay.
The room service was fairly decent, and the reception staff was responsive however, a bit curt and expressionless I’d say.
While the property is listed as a 5-star hotel on Google, the amenities and overall experience did not quite live up to that rating. The room furnishings felt underwhelming in terms of finish, and the walls were not adequately soundproof—we could clearly hear loud noise from children and families in the hallway.
The reception staff’s demeanour was noticeably curt; interactions felt transactional, with only the bare minimum said or done. The billing process was also far from seamless and required multiple staff members, with us having to manually calculate figures ourselves.
As this was our honeymoon stay, I had booked the property months in advance and admittedly forgot to mention this in the initial notes. I shared this information just before check-in, only to be met with a rather curt response implying that the omission was an issue, which made me feel uncomfortable for even mentioning it. I clarified that it was an oversight and that we had no expectations.
That said, I do appreciate the gesture of a cake being sent to our room later in the stay.
The location was good. Hygiene and staff members were good too.
There is nothing more to do in the property. No activities.
