Pros:

Très bel environnement, une équipe au petite soin, on se sent très vite comme à la maison. Anish est vraiment un super hôte.

Un petit coin de paradis
Pros:

Tout. Absolument tout. Le lieu est extraordinaire., un jardin luxuriant agrémenté de nombreuses oeuvres d art. Une décoration magnifique , du goût dans chaque coin. Les repas sont i à la hauteur du lieu. Les personnels sont attentifs avec un sourire permanent. Que des bons moments à vivre dans cette étape. A recommander les yeux fermés !

La camera era molto spaziosa e la colazione buona ed abbondante.

Cons:

Tutto troppo caro per quello che effettivamente viene proposto, a livello di qualità del servizio.
In un luogo che ha quel prezzo a notte ci si aspetta un servizio molto più preciso:
Le tovagliette sui comodini e quelle per la colazione e cena erano sporche.
La cena carissima per gli standard della zona e per quello che è stato servito.
Il manager non ci ha informato prima su tutte le attività che era possibile fare, se non i massaggi, e quando siamo arrivate abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile fare una lezione di yoga la risposta è stata negativa perché, giustamente, c'era poco preavviso.
Il posto ha un enorme potenziale ma dovrebbe essere curato un po' di più.

A unique estate with great character and a strong sense of place.
Pros:

Beautiful and distinctive villa with lots of charm. Excellent hospitality and genuinely warm service throughout our stay. Dinner and breakfast served to the room were very good and added to the relaxed, intimate experience. Service was attentive and thoughtful.

Cons:

We stayed in a room with an outdoor shower only, which was less convenient.

A beautiful restful location on the lake
Pros:

A boutique property in a beautiful location on the lake, ideal for a 2 to 3 night stay or after a house boat trip. It is essentially a place for rest and relaxation but the boat trip that Anish, the manager, arranged to the Kumarakom area, was worth doing. They have bikes which we used. The staff were all very accommodating. As there are only a few local style restaurants, you are essentially obliged to order the in-house meals but they were all excellent, with locally sourced fresh produce. The memory foam mattress was a wonderful relief as we had very firm ones at other properties on our trip. We enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

The internet and power were at times irregular. This is rural India after all! There is both a mosque and a temple nearby who periodically broadcast prayers over PA systems. At times these were a little intrusive but also part of the local colour.

LIVING IN HEAVEN
Pros:

Ameya is the most beautiful place we have seen. Our stay was really wonderful and Anish and his team were really to kind to us. The endless view overlooking the lake from our room was unbelievable. The food was to die for. We can't wait to come back again. We have really enjoyed every minute with an outstanding ambience. Every small detail of the place has given us the feeling that we came back home. Really without words.

Pros:

The property itself is so beautiful. There is so much thought given to each and every nook and corner. Whereevr you look there was art or art pieces. The book collection they had was so nice and different. I wish I had more time to sit and read.

The breakfast provided was excellent. Each morning we had a few options to choose from. They even provided us with oat milk for a few of our family members who were vegan.
Even the dinners served on each day was delicious and very well prepared. It was very simple yet wonderfully prepared. We throughly enjoyed the wheat malabar parathas with curry on one of the nights.

Cons:

The chef although seemed very through with vegan ingredients when asked, somehow kept serving us dishes which were not vegan friendly on multiple occasions.

Eg- On the first day he did not serve us with dessert with dairy in it but served us with honey glazed fruits. Which we had to send back.
We were very happy that he wanted to serve us coconut sorbet the next day and assured us that its vegan. But when asked he said it had dairy cream instead of coconut cream.

So, we had to clarify each time about ingredients for each dish.

Wir haben uns in Ameya Kerala sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage ist außergewöhnlich und großzügig gestaltet sowie top gepflegt. Das Personal und insbesondere der Manager Anish sind sehr nett und sehr bemüht, dass die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen.

Pros:

It was such a special place!!! The photos look nice but they don’t capture the truly special atmosphere. The staff were all so kind, Anish was unbelievably helpful in booking things for us and giving us advice - he even came with the driver to welcome us at the airport! You get breakfast (lunch if you want it) and dinner delivered to your own private terraces. There’s a pool and you can kayak on the gorgeous lake. It’s such a special place and it’s the people there that really made it. I’d definitely go back!

A peice of paradise
Pros:

Loved the location, the decor inside the rooms, the staff, the food. The food was excellent - home made and delicious and was catered to an extent to your needs. The staff - Anish, Bala, Sudha, Asha, Rashmi made me feel like I have come home. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space in the world.
