Pros:

This hotel captivated me with its amazing atmosphere of an old Indian haveli, beautiful architecture, red-colored facades, various courtyards, picturesque corners, and an abundance of colourful bougainvillea climbing along the walls. There is also a pleasant café and restaurant on the premises. Everything is furnished in a colonial style with many decorations. The reception staff were helpful and assisted me in arranging a driver for the trips I wanted.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the potential of this hotel is spoiled by many issues.

I booked 2 nights in a Deluxe Double Room with a double bed and balcony, for a total price of 18,880 INR (it is currently no longer listed; the hotel has many rooms that it does not show in its offer). Upon arrival, they first offered me two rooms that I had not booked. One was large but had no windows, and the other was very small and without a balcony. The price difference between the offered room and the one I booked, according to the rate on Booking.com, was 6,240 INR. Only after I protested that this was not the room I had booked did they take me to the correct room. At first glance, the room looked nice, but all the furniture, including the black faux-leather armchairs and sofa, was covered with a layer of dust and dirt. The towels and bed linen were washed but very old, worn, and torn. Another issue was the pool, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. It was completely unusable because the water was extremely dirty, with a layer of mud at the bottom. It is a shame that the hotel management wastes the potential that this place offers.
