Its a hotel style building with strict access control on your apartment and undisclosed no visitor policy.
Located steep downhill from Istiklal street.
No privacy and freedom of an indipendent apartment.

The room has everything you would need, and it's only about 3 minutes walking from Istiklal Street. Detergent is available for the washing machine, and even though it has no drying funcion, Istanbul is windy enough for drying everything up in about a day. There's plenty to do around, and both bus and tram are only about 10min away walking. And the views from the terrace were breathtaking.
The host, Ünder, was the EXTREMELY hospitable and helpful. He shared tea with us a couple times over some nice conversation at the reception. He also allowed us to keep the suitcases in the building after checking out and before heading to another location in Tuekey. But furthermore, after returning to Istanbul a few days after the stay, he allowed us to keep the suitcases there once again eventhough we didn't have a reservation anymore. He received us with more tea, of course!
Not to mention all the helpful restaurant and transport recommendations he gave us. We tried a couple of the restaurants and they were amazing. If the listed price fits your budget, you seriously cannot go wrong with this Hotel.
Our room was at the highest floor of the 5 or 6 stories building. If you have any difficulty with stairs, perhaps this is not your best bet. But you do get used to it.
If this is something that concerns you, you may want to get in touch with the property to see if they can arrange a lower floor.
A very spacious, bright room. It has everything you need and more. The bathroom is spacious. The room is clean and quiet. The hotel owner was very responsive, allowed me to check in early and stay longer for an additional fee, and also helped arrange a return transfer. You feel safe in this hotel thanks to the responsive staff. I would choose this hotel again if I were in Istanbul.
A great place to stay for 3 days. The room has everything you need for a short stay. It's clean, fairly quiet, and has a cozy balcony. Conveniently located, just 5 minutes from the main street. The staff is very friendly, always available and ready to help. I highly recommend it!
It's not critical, but some lighting could be added. One bulb wasn't working.

On m’a donné une chambre que je pense, n’était pas lavée, sinon le personnel était super et ils sont directement venus pour nettoyer car j’avais une fuite d’eau dans la chambre
