The staff were extremely friendly and helped out whenever possible. Servicing was great.
The room was not the cleanest or most well-maintained. It was very old, and the Wifi wasn't working properly in the room. The bathroom shower area was also tiny and made it hard to turn around without touching the curtains.
The front desk personnel were exceptional. Hussein (aka "José", as he spoke Spanish 😅) and Muhammed, were both friendly and helpful, making my stay agreeable despite the situation described below, but the Oscar goes to... Mr Ali, a fantastic, fun and heartwarm man, a true Lebanese. To hear him talk about Lebanese food, his love for Beirut, the local beaches... He's one of these people when you travel that wipes away any negative impressions you might have and puts things into perspective.
Merci, Mr Ali! 🌹
It wasn't exactly what I had expected when I booked, nothing was said about the hotel being a building site - major refurbishment going on right upstairs (drilling through the wall, use of sledgehammers...), it felt a bit like being at the dentist. They were not supposed to start before 11 ("in order not to disturb guests..."), buy every day they tried to make an early start,, so we had a daily "combat" over this, with several complaints to the front desk, it was quite stressful... But again, Mr Ali, with his friendly approach and genuinely caring attitude, saved the day. So 10 points to him! In the present situation (writing this end of Match, four weeks into the war), I can only hope they are all safe. 🩵🪻

El sitio está muy bien ubicado. Muy cerca caminando de los principales sitios de Beirut. La habitación es muy cómoda y bastante grande. Todo muy limpio. Es un sitio bastante recomendable para pasar los días en la ciudad
The room is wide and comfortable, clean, the location is good in the heart of Beirut with good value or money
Nothing
I really appreciated their customer service and the helpfulness of their staff. I truly loved them.
I didn't like the salt water; it didn't harm me much, but sometimes I couldn't wash my face. However, everything was fine otherwise.
