Pros:

Sehr nettes, sehr hilfsbereites Team, sie organisieren alles, was man braucht. Sehr gute Verständigung in englisch. Tolles Konzept: jungen Menschen Training in Fremdsprachen und Service ermöglichen.
Hübsche Anlage, sauber und gut gepflegt. Abgeschieden und sicher.

Cons:

Betten schon ziemlich durchgelegen und unbequem.

A part le cadre qui est magnifique.

Les repas au restaurant, Toujours les mèmes plats, pas de viandes ,pas de boissons alcoolisés parfois pas d'eau en bouteille.La gérance est nulle. Endroit à éviter.

Man könnte so viel daraus machen: Traumhaftes Gelände leider trotz Buchung kein Frühstück/Warmwasser

Das Hotel liegt ein bisschen abseits, was wir aufgrund der Ruhe sehr geschätzt haben. Ein traumhafter Blick aufs Meer, toll gelegener Frühstücks-Bereich mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Sehr nettes Personal und schöne, geräumige Bungalows mit großem Bad, bequemen Betten und eigenem Garten.

Cons:

Man sollte wissen, dass dieses Hotel ein Trainings-Hotel für Auszubildende ist. Wenn es nicht viele Buchungen gibt (wir waren fast die einzigen Gäste) scheint das Hotel sehr schlecht auf Gäste vorbereitet zu sein! Obwohl wir frühzeitig gebucht hatten gab es kein Essen im Restaurant (obwohl angegeben und von uns gewünscht) und das Frühstück bestand aus einer einzigen (!!!) Scheibe Toast mit etwas Marmelade. Angekündigt wurde uns noch am Abend davor eine Auswahl an Pfannkuchen, Eiern, Früchten etc.
Auf unsere Nachfrage hin sagte man uns, dass gerade nichts in der Küche sei wegen zu weniger Gäste. Da wir aber mit Frühstück gebucht haben (und auch so buchen konnten) muss doch auch für wenige Gäste eingekauft werden!?
Wir waren zum Glück nur auf der Durchreise für eine kurze Nacht nach der Landung. Für ein paar Stunden Schlaf und den sehr günstigen Preis ok. Wir sind dann allerdings verfrüht und hungrig abgereist um irgendwo zu frühstücken.
Leider gab es auch keine warmen Duschen!

L'hôtel possède une vue époustouflante!
Il faut y aller dans l'optique où l'argent généré par l'hôtel est versé à la fondation qui aide les étudiants.

Les élèves qui sont aussi le personnel de l'hôtel sont en apprentissage et donc il faudra être patient et compréhensif 🤍🤍

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit, autrement nous aurions participé à un cours.

Séjour très agréable dans un cadre panoramique
Pros:

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le concept de l’hôtel : une école hôtelière à vocation solidaire qui forme des jeunes issus de familles très modestes. L’hôtel est très bien tenu, les interactions avec les jeunes intéressantes, les repas sont bons, le panorama est magnifique. Le village de pêcheurs en dessous est authentique. Privilégier, pour la visite du parc de Lokobe, le trajet avec une pirogue traditionnelle à rames plutôt qu’à moteur (30 min sans bruit, ni pollution). Très bon rapport qualité prix.

L'ESSAYER C'EST L'ADOPTER..

Nous avons été charmé par l'accueil, le logement floral finement décoré, la restauration, et le personnel en formation toujours aux petits soins et attentionné ..Situé au abord de la magnifique réserve de Lokobe, le lieux était idyllique pour finir notre voyage sur cette île paradisiaque.

Dobry punkt wypadowy do zwiedzania Lokobe Natural Reserve
Pros:

Lokalizacja - świetna jeżeli planuje się wycieczkę do pobliskiego rezerwatu Lokobe (warto! - zachowany las deszczowy, w takcie spaceru można spotkać żyjące tam zwierzęta w naturalnym środowisku - nie w zoo, czy prywatnym parku), poza tym - hotel „na końcu świata”, na wzgórzu, wokół nie ma żadnej infrastruktury, sklepów, bary i sklepiki są w wiosce u podnóża, około 10 min pieszo), za to piękne widoki.., blisko do lotniska. Wygodne, przestronne domki (aczkolwiek lepiej wyglądają z zewnątrz, wyposażenie podstawowe, mające najlepsze czasy za sobą..). Dobre WiFi (w recepcji).

Cons:

Brak choćby najmniejszej lodówki (nie ma gdzie przechować zakupów, jeżeli takie się ma, a to ważne, bo wokół nie ma sklepów), brak wiatraka, drzwi do domku z problematycznym zamkiem.. Restauracja - brak wyboru, proponowane są konkretne potrawy, małe porcje, drogo, na śniadanie - tylko napoje (kawa/herbata, sok) i kilka kawałeczków „chleba”, czekałam na podanie 40min, a gości było tylko kilkoro. Pomoc w organizacji wycieczki do rezerwatu i transferu na lotnisko, ale wysokie ceny.

Dreadful place to stay - find somewhere else - even if it is a long taxi ride from the airport.
Pros:

Wings hotel is in a pretty location, on the top of a forested hill overlooking the ocean.
While the staff were very pleasant, they were a little overbearing as there were 30 of them and just me as the sole guest. As Booking.com only show the positive comments by default, please read my full review for a properly balanced view.

Cons:

Pretty well everything could have been better.
I chose this hotel because it appeared to be close to the airport according to Google Maps. I had just dropped guests off at the airport and wanted somewhere to eat and sleep prior to flying out myself the following day. Even getting to Wings Hotel should have been a warning with the taxi driver wanting the same fee for the 8km between the airport and Wings Hotel as for the 36km from Crater Bay to the airport. Wings hotel is by itself at the end of a long and bumpy dirt road. On arrival, it turned out that getting back to the airport was 3 times more expensive than the trip in the other direction.
Supposedly there was wifi, but this was only in reception while sitting within 3 meters of the router.
Dinner was an issue (as I was the only guest) and it was better to pre-book it, otherwise "it might take a few hours to prepare". I gave up on dinner and went to my room. No drinking water. Back to reception to purchase a bottle.
Overnight it rained heavily. The electricity went out and stayed out. The village at the bottom of the hill was probably already used to dealing with power cuts as they were able to party with loudly amplified music until 3am. On waking up, it turned out that it hadn't just rained outside, my bags were floating around on the floor of my room. The roof leaked badly with waterfalls of water running into the room. In the morning, the electricity was still out so no wifi - or charging anything either. No hot water for a shower - all the towels were drenched from the rain anyway.
Breakfast was described as coffee, fruits, breads and jam. It was actually a single banana cut into very tiny pieces and spread thinly around a plate and a single slice of white bread cut carefully into 4 tiny squares with 4 matching tiny cubes of butter. After no dinner I was starving.
Dreadful place to stay - find somewhere else - even if it is a long taxi ride from the airport.

Pros:

This place is a hidden gem 💎

Out of the buzzing hell ville area and close to Lokobe national park, this place offers all you need if you're looking to connect with nature.

Upon arriving we didn't know that this was a hospitality school, but the staff was so nice and attentive, which made our stay even better.

Thanks for having us, I'll be back for sure!

Pros:

This is a wonderful hotel with a school in it and a young, polite, friendly, English-speaking staff. They were super nice, the view was gorgeous and they came an hour before every meal to let me know what they would be serving.
I was ill after a week in Madagascar and this was a great place to end my time.

There was a chido cyclone at last day, which they warned me about and were super helpful.

I will remember this place very fondly and will definitely recommend it. I hope to return one day and see more of it.

Really recommend this place. It’s simply wonderful and we were sad to leave.
Pros:

The staff were fantastic, helpful and incredibly friendly. They helped us with any travel issues we had and ensured we were well provided for. The rooms were comfortable with a fan and the view was incredible. It’s right by the national park and the hotel arranged a tour guide for us for a fantastic and fair rate. The food was also fresh and delicious

A very pleasant surprise to find such a valuable training school. Everything went well.
Pros:

The atmosphere is excellent. Wings of Change is training people to work in tourism and the staff are so helpful. They arranged an excellent guided trip to Lokobe Park (Freeman our guide is highly recommended). The location is beside a fairly small fishing village - very interesting and felt very safe. Don’t worry about the bumpy road from the airport!

Pros:

The staff was so nice! Service was really amazing and made our stay worth it.

Also, the location was great with a breathtaking view over the sea. We enjoyed the sunrise during our early breakfast from the terrace.

Finally, good value for money.

Cons:

Only thing I can think of is that they don’t serve alcohol. Which was fine for me, but good to know.
