Pros:

Ricardo went way beyond what I expected from a host. I was going to arrive by train and walk the 4km. up hills.
He offered to pick me up at the station in his own car. The restaurant next door serves excellent food.
Overall a great experience.

Pros:

Modern and freshly renovated hotel. Good value. And while they don't serve breakfast, they have a deal with a nearby cafe.

Cons:

The restaurant was closed, which was pretty disappointing considering they are a hotel restaurant. And while they have a reception, it's not staffed, so I had to call a number and then wait for someone to arrive before I could check in.

Economical rest from Francigena walk

The room is simple, functional, economical, and clean. It was a nice refuge from a rainy Francigena.

A perfect stay in town center
Pros:

Albergo Dante was perfect for my needs. In the center of the town and I could eat lunch and dinner at the same place where I stayed above in a nice room with rain shower and a good mattress to sleep. Breakfast in the nearby Bar Centrale.
