I visited during the warm spell and unfortunately the room didn’t manage very well - the window / blind right next to the bed made it difficult to ventilate

The location is just on the edge of the town by the railway station. Staff very friendly and they serve real ale. They sell pizza'a which is fine and affordable for those on a tight budget or youngsters who cannot afford the more expensive restaurant pubs in the town. We dis not eat in the evening but can say the breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared. Room comfortable and spacious for our two night stay. The pub had been recently redecorated.

Friendly welcome, room was newly decorated and had everything you needed, plenty of towels and nice toiletries. Breakfast waitress was lovely
"Versace" decor not to our taste and not in keeping with location but others might like it. Would've been nice to have a small fridge and fresh milk and while it was nice to eat breakfast outside the floor could've done with a sweep as lots of cigarette butts🤮

I was on my own on business and the room had everything I needed, apart from a fridge, especially in the current heat wave.
The breakfasts were one of the best I’ve had in a longtime and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Excellent!

Lovely staff, comfortable and spacious room. Excellent breakfast made with ingredients of obvious quality. Location was ideal for exploring Lymington. Large beer garden was a nice place to enjoy a quiet drink.
Our stay was during a heatwave so the room was hot. Windows only appeared to open a few inches and although a fan was included it could only mitigate slightly. If we had stayed in ‘normal’ conditions I’m sure the quality of the bed and bedding would have provided a perfect environment for sleep. So this is more of an observation than a criticism.
Well decorated rooms, ideal location to harbour and station. Breakfast was really good. Staff all friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately our stay was impacted by the heat. No air con or airflow. I would question whether they should still be letting guests stay in those temperatures as we just didn’t sleep. Coffee machine also not working.
