Everything! Staff were wonderful!
Great breakfast, very comfortable beds. Good bed linen & towels. Staff very helpful & welcoming.
Aspects of the rooms were in need of sorting out, trailing wires, lack of sockets in right places. Just needing repositioning of bed to resolve. Rattling windows & squeaking pub sign in wind !

I had travelled for work and wanted to have a location near to town and station, this place is just by the station and such a comfy place to stay, I was greeted by the front desk staff Louise, the usual checkin time was 14:00 but I had meeting at 15:00, and upon request they let me check in early after I had travelled 4 hours, thanks to the team I had an amazing stay, even the breakfast was so nice and fresh, they made the whole experience wonderful.
Had no complaints only thing which can be added is wifi for TV connection.

A peaceful and very comfortable single room, which had been recently refurbished. Great value and a perfect location in a quiet street next to the railway station. It’s a really lovely accommodation option in the heart of Lymington. Exceptionally good breakfast with lots of choice (tasty healthy options through to the usual “full English”). Excellent choice of good coffee. Really lovely, helpful and efficient staff.
The breakfast (full English) was one of the best we’ve had in ages.
Parking was a bonus.
It’s not flash but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
What more do you need??
Price was a bit high but that’s Lymington.
Either pay it or go somewhere else.

Room 1 was lovely, but right above the bar. No good if you’re a light sleeper and want to drop off before 10.30 (weekday)! Ask for a room at the back or maybe the higher floor.
Great location for the Ferry next morning. Very clean property and room. Excellent breakfast. Car Park was large. Good spot for anything you wanted to do or see in Lymington. Even though it was a pub, I could not hear anything in my room.
This is a pub and I found it very expensive for drinks. Maybe because I'm from the north of England?
Beautiful place to stay very friendly staff, breakfast was excellent.
Room was perfect very clean and we had everything we needed.
Would definitely stay again easy access from train station just off the high street which is the perfect position.all in all 5* stay thank you.

When you walk in, it is always nice to be met with a smile and a friendly greeting. The team at the Bosun's Chair are exceptional. My room was clean, comfortable and it was the first time for months l had a decent nights sleep. Breakfast...awesome !
Nice large clean rooms above a pub. 5 minute walk to the Quay where there are a number of good bars and restaurants. Very nice breakfast some good menu choices and very dog friendly.
The pub and gardens were very busy but didn’t really interfere with our stay. We thought that the £25 additional charge per dog per night was too high although it did include a doggy gift box and additional sausages for the dogs at breakfast !
