Excellent location for city. Depressing room with no light. Expensive for what we got
Pros:

The size of the apartment was very good with lots of space. It was in an excellent location for the city with the front entrance right on the Main Street.

Cons:

We booked a premium 2 bedrooms apartment. When we arrived the apartment was very dark and gloomy. We noticed that the apartment was facing a wall with lots of AC units right outside. This was the same no matter what time day or night and we had to have the lights on when in the room. The man bedroom had no window. All in all the room was depressing. I would expect that a premiere apartment would be in a better location within the building with natural daylight. We did ask for a room Move but the hotel was full and couldn’t be moved for a couple of days so decided to stay put and use the room less.
We were in the apartment for 5 nights but the bedding was never changed once!

Well equipped and spacious two bed and two bath apartment in a fabulous location.
Pros:

Apartment 201 is very spacious, well equipped and, best of all for two friends travelling together, each bedroom had its own ensuite. I loved that there were two opening windows, for some fresh air. The bedroom overlooking the street was a bit light at night as the blinds didn’t overlap, but the double glazed windows ensured traffic noise was very low, which was more important for me. Bring a sleeping mask if you need a darker room. Best of all was the location on Lampton Quay. It’s very central, and we walked almost everywhere. The only exception was a shuttle to Weta Workshops (a must see) and an Uber up to the magical Otago-Wilton Bush reserve, a 15 min ride. We loved living here for our week in Wellington and hope to return.

Cons:

Nothing was a problem, though it would have been good if the two windows had been a bit bigger, just for more fresh air.

Nice location, but one receptionist needs customer management training
Pros:

Great location.

Cons:

We booked a smaller apartment, but the hotel upgraded us to a larger one, which was appreciated. However, it had an internal courtyard view only and the ventilation system was quite noisy. All this would have been okay and manageable, only it was compounded by one particular receptionist who was rude and unhelpful.

Pros:

Excellent central location with restaurants and shops outside the Lambton Quay entrance (we enjoyed Jasmin chinese). Very helpful staff with 24 hour reception. The 2 bedroom apartment had a good kitchen and nice big living area and 2 balconies, and very comfortable soft beds. Nice to have washing machine and dryer. Coffee pod machine was another bonus.

Central - Spacious and quite Up Market.
Pros:

In the heart of the City. Very large with two bedrooms, Bathroom/laundry - washer and dryer all modern appliances and facilities - very, very spacious. - very comfortable beds. - lots of room everywhere. Short taxi ride to the Ferries.

Cons:

Car parking off site and a couple of hundred metres away uphill and $30 per night. We were on 7th floor - lift only to 6th floor - then 2 flights of stairs with luggage. A bit annoying but managed OK.

Great stay, served our purpose well and we will definitely rebook for our next stay.
Pros:

Location was perfect for our purpose. Was great having the two entry/exit doors on the ground floor to Lambton Quay and level 6 up to the student hall we were there for.

Cons:

Small thing, but there were 4 adults in our booking and only a small amount of coffee/sugar milk in the room. I was happy to buy our own extra milk but when we went to ask at the front desk for more coffee and sugar, although we were given a few extra sachets of each, we felt the staff were reluctant to give them to us which we found a little strange.

Perfect Stay in Wellington
Pros:

The location is perfect, located in the heart of Wellington with a Woolworth’s grocery store right next door and lovely shops everywhere. We also loved that the room had a fully functional kitchen (except no oven) and sitting area. That’s very rare in a hotel.

Perfect location, great value
Pros:

Central location but extremely quiet. We had a room upgrade to a one bedroom suite. We had so much room and every facility we needed - iron, washing machine etc. So nice just to drop onto the main street straight from the building.
