Mooie locatie, maar out-dated hotel.
Pros:

Locatie, dichtbij de stad en mooi aan de rand van het bos. Personeel is aardig.

Cons:

Kamers zeer oud en ongelofelijk gehorig. Wanneer een iemand op de gang de toilet doortrekt of douched is het een geluid als van een stort regen. Sanitair is heel oud ,ook in de openbare ruimtes . Ontbijt heel summier en slecht bijgevuld. Koffie uit thermoskannen ipv een fatsoenlijke koffie machine. Het hotel wil wellicht authenticiteit uitstralen , dat is te waarderen, maar moderniseer wel de faciliteiten als kamers en sanitaire ruimtes etc.

Door de tijd een wat gedateerd hotel niet alleen qua uitstraling maar ook qua entourage.
Pros:

De ligging van het hotel aan de rand van Breda en aan bosrand gelegen. De kamers zijn gedateerd van inrichting.

Cons:

Het **** sterren hotel verdient op onderdelen verbetering. Allereerst de kwaliteit van de bedden laat echf te wensen over, zijn gedateerd, zeer zachte/doorgezakt matrassen met zware dekbedden . De prijs van het ontbijt staat niet in verhouding tot het geboden. Het aanbod is erg sober en beperkt zeker voor 4 sterren hotel.

Ik was erg teleurgesteld over mijn verblijf in het Mastbosch Hotel. De ervaring voldeed totaal niet aan de standaarden van een viersterrenhotel. Bij aankomst trof ik een spin aan in het toilet, wat bijzonder onaangenaam was. De kamer miste bovendien basisvoorzieningen zoals een föhn, iets wat ik zelfs in een hotel met een lagere classificatie zou verwachten.Hoewel het personeel bij de receptie in eerste instantie beleefd leek, was de service onprofessioneel. Ik had om een strijkijzer gevraagd en duidelijk aangegeven dat ik het zelf bij de receptie zou ophalen bij mijn terugkomst, met het verzoek om mijn kamer niet te betreden. Desondanks negeerde de receptionist mijn instructies en plaatste het strijkijzer in mijn kamer. Ik vond dit respectloos en onaanvaardbaar, omdat het mijn privacy volledig negeerde.Over het algemeen voldeed het hotel niet aan zelfs de meest basale verwachtingen. Ik zou het moeilijk een echt viersterrenhotel kunnen noemen — sommige eensterrenhotels bieden een betere service en meer aandacht voor detail.

Zodra je, je kamer uit bent prima. maar de kamer is below basic

Restaurant en vriendelijkheid personeel

Cons:

Kamer, was echt ondermaats, bed was ingezakt en stonk, zodra je, jezelf omdraaide. Deze kamer en bedden zijn echt niet meer van deze tijd. Dat de kamers klein zijn is tot daar aan toe, maar zo'n klein, hard stinkend bed is echt beneden de ondergrens.
