Pros:

Very close to train station with free luggage storing space. Bed and pillow are comfortable.

Cons:

The room is small if you have two luggages to open at the same time. Bathroom ventilator is not working.

Easy automated check-in to a nice hotel at a great location by the train station
Pros:

The location is right by the station, literally just outside. This makes it very convenient for luggage and check-in/out.

The automated check-in was easy and the rooms were nice and comfortable. For the price, it was great!

Also free coin-lockers to use for the day after checked out.

Cons:

There was no-one around if there was an issue. I didn't realise this would be the case (fully automated check-in process). We didn't have any issue, but could imagine if there was a problem or a less tech-savvy person was checking in it could be an issue.

The cafe area / facilities wasn't anything to write home about - basic snacks and drinks from vending machines.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war klein aber sehr bequem und sauber

Cons:

Ich habe das Zimmer nur ausgewählt, weil ich ein Frühstück erwartet habe. Es stand zwar in der Beschreibung nichts darüber, aber in den Bewertungen war es eindeutig, dass es ein Frühstück gibt. Hätte ich gewusst, es gibt keins, hätte ich das Zimmer nicht gebucht, weil man für den Preis das durchaus erwarten kann. In anderen, besseren Hotels, in denen ich in Japan übernachtet habe, war Zimmerpreis sogar leicht niedriger und mit Frühstück

I've never been to a hotel that was this close to the station exit.

Cons:

TV had hdmi ports disabled. That's so unnecessary, don't punish guests who bring their own entertainment

Pros:

出車站左轉就到了位置很方便，全自助試的，設備很完善，有雙床加床的房型可3人入住也不會到太擠，浴室水壓也很讚，交誼廳有飲料機冷熱茶咖啡都有👍但公共廁所區域需有房卡才可進入，未辦理入住可先使用車站廁所。

Great practical option for staying in Kakunodate, and a good value for the money
Pros:

It's practical and minimal and adequate for a short stay. Don't expect luxury, but it is clean and organised and right next to the train station.
Kakunodate is an amazing little town worth visiting and there aren't many options for places to stay, but IMO you don't need any other option. It's a short walk from the hotel to the samurai houses and there is a convenience store in the train station next to the hotel.
The no staff at reception thing takes a minute to get used to, but you realise soon you don't really need it and the auto checkin and checkout works just fine.
I would stay here again if I'm in Kakunodate.

Cons:

Nothing really. This hotel is what it claims to be and nothing more or less.

Un hotel básico que supera las expectativas
Pros:

Para ser un hotel básico al lado de la estación, todo está muy bien organizado (el auto check in, la zona de comedor común, las taquillas para equipaje) y no resulta nada básico. Ha superado nuestra expectativas.

Pros:

駅の目の前！ハイテク過ぎる！きれいだし共有スペースも飲み物などあって快適でした。自分のスマホが鍵になるとは！びっくりです。

Hotel ágil sin personal presente
Pros:

Simple para el check-in, sin personal presente, aunque cuando se tildó la máquina fui asistido virtualmente por un empleado indio. Todo muy cómodo y limpio. La sala de estar tiene agua y cafe libre. Se encuentra pegado literalmente a la estación de tren.

Cons:

Nada, funcionaba todo perfectamente. Agil y ordenado para el proceso y los accesos. Volvería tranquilamente.
