We LOVED EVERYTHING!
This is an exceptional boutique hotel.
The location is wonderful for visiting Salamanca and even driving and parking was easy.
From start to finish the experience was outstanding. The hotel smells divine. NIcol the sweet Mexican lady who checked us in was extremely professional but very friendly.
The room was very well appointed with lovely design details. Not super spacious but well sized by old European building standards. With a sweet terrace overlooking the interior patio with its super cool “designer” umbrellas.
Bed, pillows, bedding and towels were all excellent quality and very comfortable
BIG ( free standing) bottles of toiletries - yeah! - not attached to a wall!!!
Regina from Housekeeping was beyond accomodating , offering to take photos of us ( in the street with monuments in the background!)
Both “gourmet” and simple breakfasts were a delightful experience with top quality local products and use of excellent china and stem ware.
Dinner was also outstanding with a superb team led by Silvia who really knows her wines and her product. Service was flawless but so friendly.
I do not think i have ever given a 10 anywhere but this hotel with this team led by Alvaro were above and beyond!
If you read this I really hope your experience is as heart warming as ours was.

Seul le petit déjeuner a été décevant. Au lieu d'un buffet classique il n'y a le choix qu'entre deux formules, l'une trop longue (1h30) et l'autre au choix très limité.
Todo el personal fue muy amable y la ubicacion no puede ser mejor. Aunque parezca algo sin importancia, la ropa de cama y toallas es superconfortable.

Uno de los mejores servicio al cliente, me sentí en casa el hotel muy bien ubicado, las instalaciones súper limpias en total el hotel es bello y tranquilo.

The most perfect location 150m from Plaza Mayor and in the heart of probably the most beautiful city in Spain.
Total luxury but understated, just how it should be.

Andre on reception was exceptional. No one could've been more helpful & welcoming. He is a total star.
All the staff were lovely and a real credit to the hotel.
Only 13 rooms, it felt very personal & exclusive.

This is a hotel with a Michelin star restaurant. We stayed Sunday & Monday when it was closed.
This was fine. The issue I have is with breakfast.
It was outside in a gorgeous courtyard which was idyllic and the staff lovely.
The food was lovely.
The real issue I have is that it was not relaxed. You have a choice of the degustation menu (does anyone really want a degustation menu for breakfast?) or the limited express.
We tried each. Neither were what we wanted.
Please give guests a wider choice. It shouldn't be that we have to fit in what the kitchen wants to structure for us! It's breakfast for goodness sake.
True luxury is breakfast organised around what the guests want!
I understand it's a destination restaurant & rooms but please let the people who are paying choose!
Fried or poached eggs shouldn't be off menu!

This hotel is very special, a real find. Small in size but huge in personal service, with nicest, friendliest staff anywhere. The location was perfect - just enough out of the center to feel private but a short walk to everything of historic interest. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, memorable.

Beautiful hotel, sympathetically restored. The rooms were spacious a well decorated. The food was delicious but the staff were the real stars. Friendly and informative. I would hesitate to stay again.
Our aircon did not work properly the first night and we were moved to another room. Please provide hooks for outdoor coats.
Greater selection of wines by the glass so we could try the local grape varieties.
But these are small adjustments.

Not anyone’s fault, but finding the hotel in a car by Google maps proved to be a tad challenging
Loved this hotel. The room was wonderful. We travelled for a month and this was by far the most comfortable bed and the linen and pillows were the best. Amazing breakfast.
