Relaxing and restorative.
Pros:

Chilled atmosphere, nice views of the sunset (and the town and seafront below), friendly and helpful staff, good pool area, excellent massage available on site, comfortable bed and room with a lovely balcony, Wi-Fi generally worked fine, AC worked well, bar and restaurant with reasonable food and cold drinks. Good place to relax and unwind. Relatively short walk to some nearby sites including the American War Memorial (with good views) and the Central Market.

Cons:

I was unfortunate to have had my watch stolen from inside my room while I was out. It wasn't an expensive watch but it had some emotional value. I left it out of the security box but hidden away, yet it was still found and taken. It's not the end of the world for me, its just a bit sad and this should not detract from the otherwise lovely staff and good vibes at the hotel. Hopefully this was an isolated incident and a good reminder to keep ALL valuables inside the safe. Other than that...the main pool is very cloudy, so it was impossible to see anything when doing laps with goggles on. During the day up until 5pm the main pool can get a little busy and noisy with day guests, including kids playing about.

A truly warm welcome and great stay in the Honiara hotel!
Pros:

The staff make all the difference in this hotel, very friendly, warm and welcoming. The owner of the hotel and his family members are always there, making sure things run perfectly.

Good functional hotel for working visit to Honiara
Pros:

Comfortable clean room good for working out of, quiet overnight and decent pool for swimming

Cons:

Bathroom needs upgrading and more cafe style food options would have been good

Hotel can be brought back to its glory with a bit of maintenance investment
Pros:

I liked the quirky design of the property, the entrance statues, the layout of the pool and shared areas and the staff who really made my stay enjoyable.

Cons:

The room - more particularly the bathroom had not been maintained. The property owner(s) is not investing in essential maintenance. The shower rose barely functioned and was caked in limescale, the sink cabinet (vanity) had rotten wood and was falling apart. If I’d paid $100 a night or less for the room I wouldn’t complain here - but I’d paid $220 AUD ($150USD) a night.

Pleasant enough hotel but the quirky decor doesn't mask the fact it needs some serious refurbishment
Pros:

Reception staff were super helpful - restaurant staff less so....
Large swimming pool good sized bar area
Great ocean view from the bedrooms

Cons:

The first room I had was in desperate need of update and full refurb. The upgraded room I paid for was better and much lighter
Lots of stairs to climb up and down to move around as the hotel as it is build on the hill side
Shower was very weak and useless for washing hair!
Hotel allows people to come in and pay a day charge to use the pool for the day - this means lots of unsupervised children running, screaming and splashing in the pool area while their parents pay them no attention and drink beer.....

Nice quiet and pleasant stay.
Pros:

Great staff attitude, everything was focused around the guest and making the stay enjoyable. Meals were good. Hotel was a multi-level spread across the hillside, giving good views. Nice balcony to sit out on. Large pool.

Cons:

Bedroom had balcony chairs, a desk chair and the bed, but nowhere to sit and relax, it could have benefited from having a comfortable chair.
