Stay Together

Ika and Iggy were the most wonderful hosts, made us feel so welcome, when we left it reslly felt like we were leaving behind friends. They were very accommodating, we did a cooking class and made rending which wasn't in their original package. We did a half day tour of the local waterfalls. We also did a day trip to selong blank for a surf lesson, sunset and bukit meres, hung out in Kuta - Iggy was the driver for the day. Evening we sang together while he played the guitar. Managed to get in the kitchen to make my own karak chai too. Whats also great is that every rupiah spent here goes towards the local people, thr laundry, coconut milk demonstration etc Would highly recommend.

This is not about luxury but about a very grateful experience. We truly had an amazing time with Egi and Ika at Stay Together Homestay. Egi, Ika, and everyone around them were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. During the two nights we stayed there, we genuinely felt like part of their family.

Egi took us through the rice fields and showed us the monkeys, followed by a wonderful coconut oil workshop. Later, Ika organized an amazing cooking class for us as well. Both evenings, Egi played some guitar, which created such a warm and cozy atmosphere.

We were really sad to leave, but we want to thank Egi and Ika so much for everything. We will definitely come back!

Clean and comfortable guesthouse situated amongst beautiful Tetebatu rice fields, and hosted by the most wonderful family. Egi, Ika and family were the most delightful hosts, and really took the time to make our stay in Tetebatu so special. The food in their restaurant, the tours they organised and their general company was fantastic and made this one of the best guesthouses we’ve stayed in during our travels.

If you’re visiting Tetebatu, this is the place to stay!

The host family was lovely - very friendly and helpful. They arranged a trip to some waterfalls and a transfer to Kuta at the end of our stay.The room was comfortable and the food was delicious.

An absolute gem of a homestay set within the beautiful local village of Tetebatu.

We stayed at Stay Togerher for 3 nights and enjoyed every single second.

We were welcomed by the most delightful family of Egi and Ika.

They were so proud of their local culture and offered an amazing insight into daily life within the village.
So all food is freshly prepared and particularly tasty.
An excellent choice from a well prepared menu.

Our room was spotless clean, bed was big and comfy and the view of Mount Riinjani was sublime.

Stay Together have a good selection of tours and can actually alter them to suit individual needs.
We did on the first day the local market and handicrafts tour with Egi. A most interesting day and well thought out.

It was so good that we booked the rice fields, monkey forest which was particularly spectacular (nothing like Ubud), waterfalls and coconut oil making trip, for the following day.

The coconut oil process was shown to us back at the homestay. Again it was members of Egi and Ikas family who showed us the process and encouraged us to participate. Bonus was we got to keep some of the coconut oil we made.

Enjoyed evenings with Egi playing away on his guitar and chatting about his family and local traditions.

Wat een fantastisch verblijf bij lieve mensen. Het voelde echt alsof we bij Ika en Egik thuis logeerden en een inkijkje kregen in het leven in Tetebatu. We kwamen niks te kort en hebben enorm genoten van de gastvrijheid. We komen graag nog eens terug ❤️

Ika und Egik waren wunderbare Gastgeber und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Unser Kleinkind hat sich auch sehr gut mit ihren Kindern verstanden und sie hatten sehr viel Spass. Das Essen war auch toll und die Tour mit Egiks Cousin war sehr eindrucksvoll und abwechslungsreich.

The friendly warm sweet family who do anything you ask. Nothing is too much. They brought us to the massage, picked us up from restaurants. The food is also very good.
Try the urap-urap, delicious!!

De gastvrijheid van het gezin, en het is een heel schattige locatie, waarbij je langs rijstvelden en buurtbewoners loopt om bij de homestay aan te komen

Loved our time at Stay Together, where Egi and Ika treated us like family. We went on the Tetebatu tour ran by Egi and it was a highlight of our trip, learning about the culture and exploring the beautiful area. The handicrafts tour was good too and the meals were always prepared fresh and tasted amazing. We hope to come back in the future!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Stay Together, en immersion totale dans la famille de Egik et Ika!
Ils sont aux petits soins: les PDJ sont délicieux, les dîners pareils, cuisiné minute avec amour, les tours organisés sont vraiment au top, à notre rythme, selon nos envies. C’est agréable de pouvoir échanger sur nos cultures, nos façons de vivre avec eux. Egik chante le soir avec sa guitare, hors du temps! Un immense merci pour ce séjour que nous ne sommes pas prêts d’oublier, le meilleur de nos 2 mois en Indonésie!!

We have been traveling for 15 months with our two children, and nowhere have we felt more at home than here.

It’s not only the breathtaking nature, the rice fields and the view of Mount Rinjani, that make this place so special. It’s especially Ika, Egi, and their family who truly captured our hearts.

We left this place with tears in our eyes because we already miss our new friends.

We are certain we will come back.

Es war rundum perfekt!
Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was das Travellerherz begehrt: warmes Wasser, großes bequemes Bett, Platz zum Aufhängen und Ablegen von Sachen und es ist sehr sauber. Scooterverleih ist möglich und die Lage der Unterkunft ist traumhaft: ruhig (kein Straßenlärm), mitten in den Reisfeldern und ein traumhafter Blick über die Reisterrassen und den Rinjani.
Egik & Ika und ihr Personal sind die herzlichsten Gastgeber und haben unseren Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Unser Baby wurde bespaßt, wir haben uns gut und viel unterhalten, haben viele Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen und einen tollen Kochkurs gemacht. Es hätte nicht schöner sein können und wir wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben.

Dit was de meest bijzondere plek waar we ooit geweest zijn. Deze familie is geweldig. Zo gastvrij, zo lief. Je voelt je zo enorm welkom. Wij deden de rijstveld tour met bezoek aan de watervallen, de handicraft tour en kookworkshop. Allemaal geweldig leuk en leerzaam. Een plek om nooit meer te vergeten en om ooit nog eens naar toe terug te keren.
