Pros:

The manager of the hotel was very responsive on Whatsapp and tried to solve our problems and gave us some compensations when the things got complicated. We appreciate it a lot. Good half day trip and good photographer!

Cons:

First thing - the tradition on Maldives is to step into shops etc barefoot, but none of other hotels require it. They said the floor is clean “dont worry” but we didn’t see them cleaning once and it didn’t feel very clean to us. The breakfast is very poor, there is no variety at all and very few things to choose from. Not ideal if you are there for more days. Once we arrived to the hotel, the guy informed us about the trips, but we chose those before already and asked a lot of questions. However he told us that one trip (half day trip) will not include all 3 points mentioned in the price list, because the locations are far from eachother. However we insisted and called a manager and she didn’t understand why he told us like that, it was not true. We did the trip and it was good in the end, but during our stay he was not the nicest to us. We also got complications while booking the “romantic dinner” on the beach. It was not okay - The setup was not what they sent me earlier, it looked very poor, in reality there were simply few candles placed on the beach with almost no atmosphere. Secondly, on the price list it is written that the price varies based on the menu selection. There was no menu selection at all. Nobody asked about dietary preferences or gave us any choice.
I’m not eating meat, and considering we’re on the Maldives, we at least expected the option of fresh fish - instead we were served a huge portion of plain rice mixed with vegetables and egg, a side of chicken, and a few pieces of fruit. We got a warm juice, which is also not okay. However they were kind when we complained about it, and they didn’t charge us for that. We also get a free photoshooting compensation.

Perfekt mit unglaublich freundlichen Personal
Pros:

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit auf Fulidhoo – das Hotel hat maßgeblich dazu beigetragen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und geräumig, täglich gab es kostenlos Wasser. Der Transfer per Speedboot war organisiert, inklusive Abholung am Pier und Gepäckservice bis aufs Zimmer.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal: durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein großer Dank geht an Shakil, der jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar war und uns bei allem unterstützt hat. Über ihn haben wir Schnorcheltouren gebucht – mit Delfinen, Haien und Schildkröten – und tolle Videos als Erinnerung bekommen.

Das Essen war frisch, lecker und abwechslungsreich. Selbst als wir die einzigen Gäste waren, wurden wir beim Abendessen persönlich und sehr aufmerksam bedient.

Ein rundum entspannter und wunderschöner Aufenthalt – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Pros:

Tout était parfait! C’était vraiment un séjour incroyable et le personnel de l’hôtel y est pour beaucoup !
Shakil a été super et nous a accompagné sur toute la durée de notre séjour, il nous a proposé de super excursions où nous partons avec très peu de personne on se sent vraiment privilégié !
L’île de Fulidhoo est magnifique à visiter et toutes les excursions proposé par l’hôtel sont super !
Merci pour tout nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir! C’était un pur bonheur!
Merci à l’équipe pour sa gentillesse et son accueil.

Pros:

El mejor hotel de nuestra estancia en Maldivas. El hotel era muy nuevo y el personal era de 10. Sobretodo Shakil que estaba súper atento en todo e hizo que nuestra estancia fuera mejor. Es un tipo muy amigable. También nos gustó la actividad que hicimos con ellos de nadar con tiburones.

I would recoment you some other hotel
Pros:

Good location, good excursions (but take attention on what you are charged)

Cons:

Not very clean (not on begining, not after the cleaning), verry poor breakfast, guests needed to teach staf how to prepare te boiled eggs :), way too expensive for what you get, lazy staff (out of butter, milk, jam). The stuff is there all the time but if ou do not say there is simply no food.

We had the most amazing stay at Atoll Retreat. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything felt so easy and relaxed.

A special thank you to Shakil — he truly made our trip. He helps you with absolutely everything and anything, is always there with a smile and a wave, and genuinely cares that you have the best experience. We booked all of our excursions through him and every single one was fantastic.

Couldn’t recommend this place more. We would 100% stay again!

Gutes Hotel mit toller Lage
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und neu, jedoch leider sehr hellhörig. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt.
Das Bett und die Kissen sind sehr gemütlich.
Die Duschwand könnte man noch nachrüsten, damit das Bad nicht immer geflutet wird.

Frühstück sehr spärlich und eintönig, jedoch wurden wir immer satt.

Leider sind auf der Insel derzeit überall Baustellen. Dies trübt etwas das Urlaubsfeeling.

Cons:

卫生问题，因不能穿鞋进入室内，但是地板并不是完全干净的，所以脚底总是脏脏的，希望在房间内能提供鞋子

Una settimana a Fulidhoo
Pros:

Io ed il mio compagno abbiamo soggiornato una settimana presso questo hotel nella bellissima isola di Fulidhoo. L'hotel non è vista mare ma situato al centro dell' isola quindi in pochi minuti a piedi si è ovunque.
Il prezzo è molto competitivo perché pur essendo un hotel ha un tariffario non molto diverso da una guest house, ma con una qualità maggiore.
Lo staff è stato davvero super, Shakil si è sempre premurato che tutto fosse di nostro gradimento e di proporci attività ed escursioni diverse in base alle giornate (snorkeling, delfini, Squalo Balena, Shark point...).
Le camere sono carine, moderne, pulite, letto comodo, con phon e TV, asciugamani per il bagno e per la spiaggia. Ogni mattina passava un ragazzo a rifare le camere ed i letti, cambiare gli asciugamani e lasciare una bottiglia di acqua nuova. Apprezzatissimo.
All' ultimo piano della struttura c'è una bella terrazza dove viene servita la colazione e se si desidera altri pasti, si mangia bene soprattutto in base all'offerta culinaria dell'isola.
Su richiesta forniscono tutto il necessario per lo snorkeling.
Organizzano inoltre la Speedboat dall'areoporto solitamente due volte al giorno (40$ a testa a viaggio).

Cons:

Unica pecca per eventuali turisti/bambini/persone con difficoltà motorie: non è presente l'ascensore.

Extremely disappointed in my stay here.
Cons:

I unfortunately had to change room three times upon my arrival (due to the air conditioning not working). In the second room, there was also a leak from the fridge. I also had to cancel my last night and was not offered a refund for this cancellation (due to a flight time change). I was severely disappointed in this accommodation and especially the lack of communication from the staff. I was asked if I wanted to do activities (such as snorkelling) however they never told me the price. They also got angry at me for not paying in USD as apparently they can only be paid in USD. I was informed in Male that local islands preferred Rufiyya (their local currency). This preference was obvious from all the surrounding shops and restaurants accepting this currency, so I'm unsure why they were so adamant that they be paid in USD.
