Pros:

The room was decent. Location was okay

Cons:

We booked our room in this property but when we reached there, the lockbox code given to us was wrong so we had to wait outside approx. 30mins while knocking on the door hoping someone will open. Finally when a man opened the door and we went into our room we realised it was completely dirty and a mess. So we had to contact the property manager over and over again to sort out the lockbox code for the key and about our room being not ready. He told us to move into a different property 10mins away from this one. We thought it was all over now but the next day another guest knocked on our door claiming that they have a booking in this room, so basically we had to again talk to the property manager to remind him that he told us to move here and then he had to talk to this other guest and moving them to a different place. Overall it was a very rough and hectic stay. I have shared a picture of the room we originally booked in and the condition we found it in.

Pros:

A clean room with a comfortable bed, smart TV and lots of space. The bathroom room was also clean with the required amenities.
Security was also provided with particular attention to the Key safe.

Worst place have ever checked in ..and rude owners for not yaking my matter serious

I had an issue with the owner after begbugs attacked me on the first night..i raised an issue texted the manager but he lied abt refunding my money its over 82hrshours but they are being ignorant my suck is full of rushes from the bites ..i cant even go to work coz i keep on scratching myself poor place ...avoid the place especially room number 4 full of begbugss ...check the photos uploaded for the begbugs

A very bad experience, one I never anticipated
Pros:

It was a bad experience for me. I got in with the code provided only to see that three persons had broken into the room via the window. I was shocked at first, how could this happen? I could not reach the manager of the place. I could not get another room, open broken window, no security, no staff.

Cons:

Poor security, no staff on ground to attend to your complaints or help resolve issues. Even calls were not answered in time. It was very disturbing. I was quite scared for my life

No really pleasant
Pros:

Only I had at least where to stay during the night

Cons:

Toilet out of the room
No fan as it was too hot
No clear indication to localise the house
Many rooms for just ONE Toilet
You have to cue for the Toilet

A Nightmare. Con Artist 'hoteliers'

Nothing. I was locked out of the building for 2 nights

I slept well and had a great shower!
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern, shower gel and towels were provided. There was also a TV and the host was friendly.

Cons:

Somebody knocked on my door in the middle of the night and the walls of the room were kind of dirty, there was also a really dirty chair which was kind of unsetteling for me.

While sorting out the accomadation, helpful, however, still waiting for a response about a refund

Cons:

The original accomadation waa double booked.(we found out when ther was no key) they then after 50 mins finally in an alternatve location, which waa not at all suitable to our needs. We stayed 1 night and asked for a refund for the other 3. I expected basic i was unaware it was an hmo. It was below basic, bed was uncomfortable, tv not working. A bike in the dining room, no door on the toilet, shower, staight out into back yard. I would like a refund for the 3 nights we didnt stay.. it was not what i booked

Avoid this place like the plague! Complete and utter conmen behind the name "Portsmouth stays".
Empty key box, no answer to either phone calls, messages or email and no refund given. The worst experience I have ever had. Needs to be taken off booking.com
