Wonderful getaway for Hudson River exploration.
Pros:

Great location for exploring the area. The Heartwood was very comfortable and clean. We loved the outdoor areas for enjoying the late afternoon. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the restaurant (although a bit pricey!). It was nice to see the native plantings and the efforts for a lower carbon footprint.

Cons:

More selections for breakfast.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, facilities were very nice, interesting historical displays in lobby, beautiful setting next to the Vassar Campus, nice to have a restaurant on the property

It was very special. We were visiting colleges for my son and the staff made it very comfortable for us and welcoming.
