Nette Unterkunft mit tollem Meerblick
Pros:

Unterkunft mit Meerblick, wenn das Wasser da ist 😄. Das Zimmer war weiträumig und komfortabel eingerichtet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter läuft komplett digital
Es gibt keine Essens- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, dafür sehr ruhige Gegend.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft war sehr hellhörig, nur durch Verbindungstür von der angrenzenden Unterkunft getrennt.
Die Parkplatzsituation ist unübersichtlich und mit max drei Pkw ausgereizt.

A good place to stay in the lower Catlins.
Pros:

Unit was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Well equipped. Properties in this area are scarce, so this was a good find for a 2 night stay. Handy to Curio Bay.

Cons:

It's a shame a bit more thought was not given to the design of the bathroom. Another 20cm in width would mean you could have a decent sized vanity. Was manageable, though, for a short term stay.

Pros:

I don’t want to say a lot because this place is a hidden gem. It needs to stay like this for the best experience - quiet, relaxing, real old fashioned NZ. Just what we wanted, and to share it with our Swiss friends was very special indeed.
Ps they loved it!

The location was good with good access to places of interest

Cons:

The shortage of space to cook, prepare and to unpack belongings. There are very few facilities to do anything. The hob had to be plugged in and took up most of the preparation space.
The bed is also soft so that it was difficult to be comfortable.

Vidunderlig beliggenhed, fredfyldt og med den smukkeste udsigt. Der var alt, hvad vi havde brug for.

Cons:

Vi kunne lide det hele, men det er en smule akavet at skulle vaske op i badeværelset. Det er dog en detalje. Vi kom meget gerne igen.

Pros:

Gute Lage mit Blick auf die Bucht. Schlüssel über Keybox. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Catlins.
Die Zimmer selbst sind eher einfach eingerichtet, aber, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Verfügbarkeit von Netflix war ein absolutes Highlight.

Cons:

Nicht sehr sauber. Wir mussten Geschirr nachspülen und auch im Bad nachreinigen, so war z.B. noch abgestandenes Zahnputzwasser im Zahnputzbecher.
Parkplatzsituation unschön. Es gibt eigentlich ausreichend Platz, aber man weiss nicht, wie man parken soll. Hier wäre es gut Parkplätze einzurichten.
Wir hatten das Zimmer unten, direkt an der Treppe und der Schlüsselbox, somit auch viel Besuch vor unserem Zimmer. Da die Betten direkt am Fenster stehen fühlte man sich etwas in der Privatsphäre eingeschränkt.
Zudem hört man jedes Schrittgeräusch von der oberen Wohnung, was schon eine größere Lärmbelästigung ist.
Die Bilder auf der Seite sind überwiegend von den oberen Apartments. Ich denke, im Komfort und Ausstattung sind diese besser.
Badezimmer ohne Heizung.
Auf der Seite wird "Waschmaschine" angegeben. Wir hatten keine, habe auch keine zentral verfügbare gesehen - vielleicht verfügen die oberen Apartments darüber.

Fantastic view at the Anchorage
Pros:

Fantastic view from the top Balcony in room three. Main room contained the bed, dresser, table with a couple of chairs. Small off set kitchen had a fridge with freezer section. Microwave, kettle and toaster. Utensils, dishes and plates. Beautiful area to stay.

Cons:

Can be a little noisy with people in the adjoining family unit. The family staying next to us were very mindful of the fact and did not cause any excess noise.
