Pros:

We liked everything, pat was a great host, collected us from ferry and was so friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous couple of days

A very clean hotel - excellent views from the bar - very quiet location - lovely loop walks beside the hotel. Pat was very helpful with collecting us from the boat and dropping our luggage to the boat..

Top class Irish hospitality!
Pros:

Dolphin Hotel is an example of Irish hospiltality at its' very best. The proprietor, Pat, is both a gentleman and a rogue in equal measure, whose magnificent personality encapsulates the warmth and humour of this wonderful little island.Anneka was an absolute lady, who ran an extremely tight ship and was super efficent and friendly.She gave us a great insight into life on the island and local produce and enterprises. The rooms are super cosy, beautiful hot shower and the bar is great overlooking incredible scenery. Breakfast was delicious and the bar offered a great array of choice. We can't wait to go back! Well done to all at the Dolphin and we will be recommending your great selves to all our fellow Corkonians and anyone we know heading to Inishbofin! Thanks a million.

Lovely people,perfect location but could be so much more
Pros:

Lovely location. Owner very friendly and helpful. Lady serving breakfast was lovely and very efficient. Bedroom was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The place needs a wee bit of money spent on it. Is a bit shabby. When I seen it was a hotel I assumed there would be food available, there wasn't which was very disappointing. There is a bar but its in the dining room. Not a particularly comfortable place to hang out. When I read there was a bar I envisaged a nice comfortable place to hangout and have a few glasses of wine. For these reasons it's basically just a room to stay in,if it was what I think of when I see hotel I'd spend more time there relaxing and eating. This definitely affects the atmosphere in the place. Which is a shame because it could be so much more

Pros:

In a great location with a lovely garden area outside the room. The room was spacious and the shower had good pressure. We had a lovely breakfast and staff were very friendly. It was also great to get picked up and dropped off at the ferry port.

Location. Very quiet but just 10 minutes walk to Pier and s.
Our host Pat was very friendly

Cons:

Rooms were very basic and poorly furnished. Shower looked dingy. Towels were faded and scratchy. Bed was not comfortable.
Bar was very quiet and had no atmosphere

A lovely stay at Inishbofin
Pros:

Location is perfect, the Hotel very nice and comfy and the host (Pat) is class. We as a family loved it - many thanks again for the great time!
