Pros:

La situation de l'hôtel, et l'amabilité du personnel. Ayant un problème avec mon vol, et na parlant pas espagnol Patrick a eu l'amabilité de m'aider à résoudre mon problème, en appelant pour moi la compagnie aérienne.

Pésimo servicio, no tiene pago con ninguna tarjeta, solo acepta efectivo , asi que te lleva a retirar dinero, despues su habitación doble es la misma que la deluxe, no les entra el sol a la habitación, por lo que huelen a humedad y a baño, la limpieza es pésima, todo tiene polvo y hasta telarañas, el baño no lo lavan bien , las sábanas tinene manchas y a eso le agregas que el anfitrión es racista por que se expresa muy mal de la gente dominicana y de las mujeres.

Unser Aufenthalt im Housing Staci war leider insgesamt sehr enttäuschend und wich deutlich von der Beschreibung sowie unseren Erwartungen ab.

Bereits vor der Anreise war die Kommunikation unübersichtlich, da trotz bestätigter Buchung über zwei Nächte zunächst nur von einer Nacht ausgegangen wurde. Beim Check-in (ab 13 Uhr laut Buchung) wurde uns zunächst mitgeteilt, es gebe keine Reservierung – was sich später als unangemessener Scherz herausstellte.

Schon beim Betreten des Eingangsbereichs entstand ein irritierender erster Eindruck: In einer Glastheke waren offen Kondome und entsprechende Produkte ausgestellt, was eher den Eindruck eines anders ausgerichteten Etablissements vermittelte.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war bei Ankunft nicht verfügbar. Die Wartezeit verlängerte sich wiederholt von „kurz“ auf mehrere Stunden, begründet durch eine ungewöhnliche Nutzung des Zimmers durch Dritte. Als Zwischenlösung wurde uns ein alternatives Zimmer angeboten, welches jedoch feucht, unzureichend gereinigt und nur eingeschränkt nutzbar war.

Das letztlich bezogene Zimmer befand sich in einem deutlich mangelhaften Zustand: verschmutzte Sanitäranlagen, Haare und Essenrückstände im Abfluss, beschädigte Ausstattung (lockerer Handtuchhalter), sichtbare Feuchtigkeit bzw. Schimmel sowie fehlende, zugesicherte Ausstattungsmerkmale (z. B. Föhn). Zudem war das Zimmer extrem hellhörig, begleitet von permanenten Geräuschen (u. a. Wasserpumpe).

Das inkludierte Frühstück entsprach weder den Bildern noch den üblichen Standards. Trotz vorheriger Absprache war die Organisation am Morgen unkoordiniert, sodass nur sehr wenig Zeit zum Frühstücken blieb. Serviert wurde im Flurbereich, unmittelbar neben einer stark riechenden, offensichtlich verschmutzten Matratze, was die Situation zusätzlich unangenehm machte.

Auch das Auftreten des Gastgebers wirkte teilweise unprofessionell und in Gesprächen unangemessen ( sexsistisch und rassistisch).

Soggiorno piacevolissimo! Letto comodo, aria condizionata e doccia calda con posizione strategica all’interno della zona coloniale di santo Domingo . Ma il top è cristiano che ci accolti con grande gentilezza e disponibilità. Ci ha saputo consigliare cosa fare e come muoverci. Grazie

Der Gastgeber hat uns in letzte Minute das Hotel geändert ohne weitere Erklärung. Das andere Hotel war nicht weitweg und war ziemlich ähnlich wie das erste, aber klare Kommunikation ist immer essentiell.

El señor que nos atendió fue muy amable.

Cons:

Mi marido fue quien se hospedo y no le gusto. La habitación no tenía ventana y se oían todos los ruidos de la recepción. Cuando llegamos no había luz, un problema eléctrico en la zona colonial. Creo que lo correcto al reservar era avisarnos.

The bedroom was clean and the host Patrick was very friendly

Cons:

The bathroom was terrible, it smelled like pee and the seat was broken and the flush never worked, we had to manually fill the tank.
The hot water did not work at all
