A pleasant, comfortable stay and hosts who made us feel very welcome.
Pros:

The breakfasts were excellent! The usual continental breakfast items but also freshly baked muffins and cinnamon buns, pancakes right off the griddle, bacon, fruit etc.
The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional.
The social spaces were large, comfortable and well furnished.

Cons:

Guest rooms were small and basic but adequate.

The place feels like a home away from home
Pros:

Exceptional service, family vibe atmosphere, breakfast selections (some items cooked/baked by owners), facilities well maintained, clean room carpet, new flooring, impressive architecture vaulted ceilings/ log cabin, beddings and towels white, soft and smells fresh and clean, comfortable bed, nature view, different areas inside to relax and enjoy, huge green outdoor area, 5mins away from Evelyn Falls/trail, short drive to Shuswap Lake Provincial Park

Improvement for the parking area, washroom’s low sink with the shelf

Affordable accommodation not far from the lake
Pros:

The room was spotless & the staff were very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was a nice perk.

Cons:

No AC. It was a heat wave when we stayed & the room was roasting. There was a fan which helped.

Pas très confortable et moyen dans l’ensemble
Pros:

Le personnel très sympathique et sociable !
Un espace de jeu avec du snooker et du tennis de table.
Le petit déjeuner était incroyable avec des produits locaux et très bon (confiture, œufs, viennoiserie etc …)
Parking très spacieux !

Cons:

La chambre était très petite !
Pas de rangement ou de tiroirs suffisants pour ranger les affaires.
Il manque la climatisation on a passé deux nuits très chaudes et le réveil était très difficile avec la chaleur (28 degré le jour et 20 degré la nuit)
La chambre manque vraiment d’isolation et les moustiquaires étaient déchirés on a été envahi d’insectes la nuit dans notre chambre !
L’emplacement est moyen pas grand chose à faire à côté …

Lovely drive to an out-of-the-way spot.
Pros:

Good breakfast setup, and the building is lovely and lovingly maintained.

Cons:

No air conditioning in an upstairs room during warm weather was hard to do. They had fans ready to go and it does cool off overnight.
Little details like no self-serve hot water/coffee, or cup in the bathroom for water were missing.

Lovely Inn
Pros:

Lovely little Inn. Wonderful Hosts and a delicious continental breakfast😉

The rooms were a little on the smaller side but lovely all the same.

Soul healing
Pros:

I love how rustic and quiet Anglemont Inn is. My boyfriend works 7 days a week as an executive chef, and I work as a clerk in a major OR in Calgary, and getting away from everything was soul healing.
This was my second visit, so I was quite shocked by the changes, had an old rustic cabin like feel that I hope will come back, as opposed to the open/modern style.
