Hervorragend!
Pros:

Die Anreise wurde vorgängig mit Marc Jecklin, dem Besitzer des Hotel Frieden, besprochen und es war alles wunderbar unkompliziert. Er hat uns persöhnlich empfangen, alles erklärt und uns zum Zimmer begleitet. Das Zimmer selber war schön eingerichtet und ausgesprochen Sauber. Ich selber bin eher einer der Empfindlicheren Sorte, gerade wenns ums Bett geht. Aber das Bett, die Kissen und Decken sowie auch das Bad und das ganze Zimmer sind ausgesprochen sauber und wir werden dort definitiv wieder einkehren. Marc war super freundlich, unkompliziert und wir haben uns von anfang an wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Das einzige was etwas doof war, ist gleichzeitig auch ein grosser Vorteil. Der Standort: Mitten in Davos. Leider war gerade irgend ein Festival und da wurde bis morgens um 4Uhr lärm gemacht. Dieser Nachteil lässt sich aber schnell beheben, indem man einfach die Fenster über Nacht zu macht.

zentrales,kleines, gemütliches Hotel gleich beim Bahnhof Davos Platz
Pros:

- Lage, einen Steinwurf vom Bahnhof Davos entfernt
- sehr saubere Zimmer.
- äusserst freundlicher Empfang persönlich durch den Hotellier, er weiss viel über die lokalen Aktivitäten und Hintergründe zu erzählen. Es war auch für mich viel Neues dabei, obwohl ich Davos schon etwas kenne.
- Innen ist der Ausbaustandard sehr gut, wirkt wie frisch renoviert.
- für Davos ausserordentlich gutes Preis-/Leistunsverhältnis.

Cons:

Wer dieses Hotel mit den für Davos sehr gastfreundlichen Preisen noch erleben will, kann das voraussichtlich nur noch bis Frühjahr 2027 tun. Es ist dann leider eine Umnutzung geplant.

Pros:

Perfect base for hiking in the Davos area. I stayed here for a night and it was exactly what I was looking for.
This is a family-run hotel with a genuinely homey feeling, and that made all the difference. The bed was comfortable, everything was spotless, and Mark, the host, was friendly and helpful throughout. He made the whole experience.

There's a warmth to a small, personal hotel like this that the big chains simply can't match. If you're hiking in the region and want somewhere welcoming to rest, this is the place.
