Sehr nettes Personal, heruntergekommenes aber sauberes Hotel
Pros:

Der Hotelbesitzer ist sehr engagiert, kümmert sich aufmerksam um seine Gäste und ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Auch seine Restaurantempfehlungen waren sehr hilfreich. Allgemein war unser Zimmer sauber und wir haben kostenlos ein „Zimmer-Upgrade“ erhalten. Im Zimmer gab es einen Ventilator gegen die Hitze.
Hinter dem Hotel gibt es ausserdem einen kostenlosen, videoüberwachten Parkplatz, was sehr praktisch ist.

Cons:

Leider wirkt sowohl die Stadt Llanelli als auch das Hotel selbst teilweise sehr heruntergekommen. Kritisch empfanden wir den Zustand der Böden im Hotel. Die Zwischenböden wirken teilweise nicht mehr vertrauenswürdig; an einigen Stellen ist der Boden so stark eingesackt, dass man beim Gehen beinahe das Gefühl hat, ins Leere zu treten.
Sehr problematisch ist zudem der Zustand der Badezimmer. Dort befindet sich teilweise sehr viel schwarzer Schimmel, was aus unserer Sicht aus gesundheitlichen Gründen dringend behoben werden sollte. Auch die Fugen hätten eine gründliche Reinigung nötig.
Die Zimmer sind ausserdem extrem hellhörig. Man hört teilweise jedes Wort aus dem Nachbarzimmer, und auch die Türen schlagen sehr laut zu. Im Zimmer gibt es zudem kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten und nicht einmal einen Stuhl.
Besonders kritisch sehen wir jedoch die Sicherheit im Brandfall. Zwar sind Brand- bzw. Feuerschutztüren vorhanden, allerdings scheinen nicht alle auf den Fluchtwegen ausgewiesenen Türen im Ernstfall tatsächlich benutzbar zu sein. Beispielsweise war die Haupteingangstür verschlossen. Auch eine als Fluchttür gekennzeichnete Tür im Speisesaal war mit Gummizügen verschlossen.
Allgemein wirkt das Hotel (aus Schweizersicht) eher wie ein 2-3 Stern Hotel.

Clean, comfortable and effortless check-in.
Pros:

Very clean, comfortable, close to Town Center and easy access Wales Coast Trail. The gentleman at reception was friendly and very accommodating. Truly a person who cares about the guests.

All was good for me.

For the price I couldn't have got better, thank you
Pros:

Didn't stay for food as had early train to catch. Made very welcome and got an upgraded room, thank you. 10 minute walk to station, 8 to town but on a Sunday it was empty. Would stay again

Cons:

Think i nearly broke the shower sorry, didn't turn off easily and didn't want to force it

Helptul, polite and nothing was too much trouble.
Pros:

The room was nice and clean, the owner was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will be staying there next year.

Pros:

Nice size room it was quiet in terms of outside noise. Shower was nice although needs fixing. Really good location not far to get around.

Cons:

You could hear people staying above the room. Certain parts of the room need some TLC. No food /drinks available on site.
