Good value stay
Pros:

Staff member Ben was friendly and greeted us when we arrived. We ended up being the only ones staying there at the time. It wasn’t too far away from food places and you could walk to the National park from there.

Cons:

The water in the bathroom was pretty leaky, but this might be common for this area. Also I missed on the booking “MYR 10 Tourism fee per night is excluded.”

Pros:

Hotel itself is great, you have everything to cook. Shared toilets/hot shower are clean with toilet paper. The rooms have super view and are big enough.
The real highlight is Ben, the host. Before we even arrived, he helped us arrange the transportation giving us advice on how to come.
We arrived at 23:30 and he was waiting us, gave us information about the guesthouse and what to do arround. He also provided us with lot of contacts: scooter rental, private driver...
If you come and stay here, you won't be bored :)

Basic, Superb Value for money for couple and family
Pros:

- Very clean
- Very strategic location- near to lots of attractions via self driving
- Clear view of Mount Kinabalu although not full view
- cooking facilities

Cons:

None really.
Caretaker staff did his very best to ensure comfy stay.

Basic lodge accommodation near Kinabalu National Park
Pros:

We needed to find accommodation at short notice and quite late at night. The staff member Ben was really helpful and accommodating.
The lodge is basic, but really good value for money. Rooms are a good size and are clean, as are the shared bathrooms There are cooking facilities too.

Only a 5 minute drive to Kinabalu National park, and with views of Mount Kinabalu from the lodge

Overall, it is a nice place to sleep for a short trip with great price, couldnt complaint much.
