Pros:

Начну с того, что название отеля и его расположение на карте не совпадают с фактическим названием и реальной локацией — на месте он обозначен как Chanli Resort. С какой целью это сделано, нам непонятно. Найти его удалось только благодаря отзывам других гостей.
Вторая и более серьёзная проблема — нам отказали в заселении, сославшись на отсутствие свободных номеров, несмотря на то что бронирование было оформлено почти за два месяца до приезда и мы получили официальное подтверждение. За всё время путешествия по Шри-Ланке подобных ситуаций с другими отелями у нас не возникало.
Этот отель был финальной точкой нашего 11-дневного тура по острову на байках. После долгой дороги мы были уставшими и рассчитывали на заранее подтверждённое размещение. Мы прождали около часа в надежде, что вопрос как-то решится, однако никакого результата так и не получили.
Сложилось ощущение, что приоритет был отдан другим гостям. Если это так, остаётся вопрос — почему бронирование не было отменено заранее? К сожалению, ответы на эти вопросы мы не получили.
Решение о том, стоит ли иметь дело с этим отелем, каждый сделает сам.

Loved it, will stay again.
Pros:

Planned to stay a few nights but ended up staying 2 weeks. It’s a very comfortable, clean place not far from the beach with restaurants all around. The staff were really accommodating. It was the best stay in Sri-Lanka.

Pros:

Shanthi/Chanli Resort just (re) opened last month. It’s a really nice, central and tidy place to stay for a very affordable price. The rooms are spacious and clean, the ac works perfect and there is hot water. Each room has a nice private outside space to sit, but you can also use the communal area at the ground floor. Rooms with one or two double beds are available. By using the entrance of the neighbor hotel (Frangipani) you are within 1 minute on the beautiful Tangalle beach. Lots of tasteful restaurants in the direct area. Highly recommended! ❤️
