Very simple and great accomodation. Great for a snow trip. Staff are friendly.
Pros:

Location is amazing to use the ski resorts.

Cons:

Must walk uphill from town to get to property. Hard with lots of luggage.

Prime location, would stay again and recommend to friends/ family.
Pros:

The location is 10/10, gotta be the best spot in Nozawa. Ski in ski out. The room was cosy and warm, had everything you needed. About a 10 min walk to most restaurants, bars and convenience stores in town. The staff are great and helpful. Had a drying room. Toilets on each floor. There is only 1x shower for each gender located on the bottom floor but there was never a wait for the shower. There is a cafe downstairs, has good music and yummy food, is open and closed at a reasonable time (won’t wake you up or keep you up at night).

Perfect ski-in ski-out room with shared bathroom
Pros:

- room is bigger than we thought and pretty functional, room is clean, quiet and warm
- shared bathroom is clean and hot water shower and we didn't have to queue most of the times
- dryroom is good
- room is right next to Nagasaka gondola, but it also means there's 15 minutes uphill/downhill to the bus station and main town (where most of the restaurants and convenience stores are)
- there is a shared living room that we can store our luggage and rest on the last day after we checked out, the host is kind to let us use the shower after we checked out

Cons:

- there're some stinky bugs in the shared toilet
- there is no kitchen utensils or sink in the living room, so it's a bit hard to have meals at home

Warm, friendly and clean with excellent proximity to slopes. Friendly staff and would stay again.

For value for money Gondola House is very good. Good points - Staff very helpful. Rooms clean and warm. Bathroom very clean. Showers very clean. Proximity to lifts unbeatable. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

Cons:

Rooms could do with a little more sound proofing as you can here people talking next door in room.s Fortunately most people are asleep early. The rooms we had were pretty small - but for this price and location that is acceptable but dont expect a mansion.

Great location,quiet nights sleep, bathroom was terrible.Staff need a lot more hospitality training!
Pros:

It’s a great location and is quiet after 7pm.

Cons:

Staff were not welcoming and somewhat arrogant, nothing like any other place I’ve stayed chasing pow in Japan. These kids need a lesson in hospitality.
