Sea views the room is new refurbished
Hotels don't have parking and smell of food once you enter the building .
The lobby and the escalator looks really old .
Great location, nice size room in an old, charming building with modern electrics and facilities.
The parking is limited and it wasn't possible to book a place in the hotel car park. The walk to the public parking wasn't too bad, but it added cost to the stay.
The staff were great. Very helpful. The breakfast was nice but not on time. The restaurant downstairs run by a Malaysian family was superlative.
We asked for a sea front room, but the traffic noise was so terrible you couldn't hear the sea. Norah the kind receptionist did everything she could to find us a quiet room , 208, at the back of the house. We did get one good night's sleep, although There were many lights at night from devices in the 'smart room ' that couldn't be turned off. Then the third day, there were terrible drilling noises behind the back of our bed. It took several hours after our whatsapp 'help' message was answered. A nice woman, Sasha, from reception, eventually told us that there was construction going on in the building next to us. By that time we suffered 3 hours of construction noise. We should have been told earlier, so that we could move again, which we did. That room, 208, proved to be the worst nightmare of all. In the night, a flashing light like from a police car was visible in our room, we couldn't turn it off, it was located near the curtain rail. Finally the next morning, receptionist said, 'sorry it's the wifi,' but there was no switch, we couldn't turn it off. What with the many electric lights in the room at night, plus the flashing light, and the construction noise, we'd had enough. Our 3 day stay was not relaxing at all. I don't blame staff, I blame the hotel owners and too many 'smart' devices in the room. The smart room concept does not enhance the holiday at all. There are no coffee shops early morning within walking distance and the breakfast hotel facility is closed on Monday, which wasn't advertised.
The staff were so friendly felt very safe in there . Amazed at everything was through Alexa brilliant

it was very easy to get to, and lovely clean room with all the amenities we needed. Right opposite the beach so we could run in from the hotel!

Clean, spacious and very friendly staff. Very comfortable room with a fantastic view of the beach. Private pre-booked parking on site so no hassle with trying to find a spot along the beachfront!
Shower wasn’t the best, the handle was loose so couldn’t get the temperature quite right
