Enjoyed our night at the Carlton. Nice warm comfortable room.
Pros:

Good value for money, nice clean room, modern technology.

Cons:

Seemed to be In between refurbishment as some of the property looked a bit tired in places.

Pros:

Rooms were clean and spacious with very upto date technology the sea view room is a must.. To open your eyes in the morning and ask Alexa to open the curtains and your view is over looking the wonderful sea and beach of weymouth 😍🙂

Great Location,short walk to Town.
Pros:

The Room clean & bed really comfortable, with extra pillows available if needed.
Pre Car Parking available for reasonable fee.
Staff that we met were friendly & helpful.

Cons:

Could not seem to charge my phone up once we were in our Room at night?? Thought it may be my charger?? Tried again in the morning & could actually charge phone, but all quite strange?!

Not for us but maybe for others
Pros:

It was centrally located and provided an element of value for money until the surface was scratched.

Cons:

Paid for car parking was difficult with no direct access from the car park into the hotel building. We stayed in room 301 on the 3rd floor accessed by 6 flights of stairs or a very small lift itself accessed by narrow and very dated (decoratively) corridors making the carriage of bags difficult. The room was uneven leaning towards the door which made sleeping challenging. Over all the room was clean other than the bathroom bin which had not been emptied following the previous guests. There was evidence of damp on the ceiling and a patch of bare brick work where the plaster had come away. There is a Malaysian restaurant on site which seemed to be cooking all day, we never ate there but had to contend with the kitchen smells all day even in the third floor. It is a smart hotel, in that electrics in the room are controllable by Alexia; we didn’t use that facility but felt uncomfortable that we could not switch that facility off and could be monitoring us.

Pros:

Perfect for our stay in lovely Weymouth. Walking distance to the shopping area and the Pavilion. Spacious room with nice shower. We had a sea view which was fabulous.

Cons:

Unfortunately the breakfast was very disappointing!! Friendly staff but the hot buffet was not at all tempting. Fancy but not friendly coffee machine. Many people had a problem using it.
