Great affordable spot near everything.
Pros:

Excellent location,.comfortable bed with nice linens, hot shower water, delicious breakfast, thoughtful and helpful staff.

Cons:

The perfect hotel for a short stay!
Pros:

The hotel was located in a heart of the city. It is walking distance to attractions within the city and restaurants. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and extremely friendly. We would stay here again.

Cons:

The safe in the room was too small to put bigger valuables like our laptop.

Great cosy hotel, superb location!
Pros:

We are a family of 8 with 3 rooms booked for two nights.

Pleasant welcome and great hospitality from the hotel manager. As my flight arrival was early, he made the effort to rush the rooms for us as we have elderly parents with us. And he greets us all the time whenever he sees us.

The rooms are clean and beds are good. Amenities, towels and mineral water bottles are provided too, which I didn't expect for a boutique hotel.

The location was truly amazing with lots of restaurants and cafes along the street. There is a good Chinese restaurant next door.

It is also walking distance to the waterfront. It was also easy to get e-hailing rides around the city and outskirt areas.

Another plus - there are welcome drinks (and Christmas cookies (as we went on Christmas day) the whole day at the lobby.

Cons:

All really great except that the double bed is actually queen size though described as a large double bed.

Will certainly use this hotel again in the future.
Pros:

Locality is excellent, friendly staff, very quiet room, affordability.

Cons:

The WiFi was problematic due to regional breakdown, not the fault of the hotel.

Nice hotel in good location, but loud bar opposite
Pros:

The location is very convenient and central. The hotel is fairly clean. Very helpful staff and the front desk agent was expecting us, making the check-in process quick and easy although we arrived around midnight.

Cons:

On our second night, flies came up through the bathroom drain. Also, I don't think bedroom slippers are provided (or if they were, we couldn't find them).

This isn't the property's fault, but worth noting that the Borneo Rednecks pub faces the hotel's front entrance. The bar has a very loud live band from about 11.30pm to 2am, so do note that if you are given a room facing the pub it may be disruptive to your sleep. It's best to bring earplugs or request a room on the other side of the building from the bar, as our friends who had a room on the other side of the hotel said they couldn't hear much.
