We had few complaints and overall enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

The hotel itself is magnificent and harks back to a long-gone era. It was spacious but does need a little bit of a makeover. All the staff made our two night stay one we will remember.

Cons:

It is a little like stepping back in time and very cold in the winter but this does not detract from the overall historical ambience of the hotel

ok hotel for a short stay
Pros:

The hotel was very quiet as there where only a few other people staying at the hotel.
The staff where exceptional,
The rooms where clean but very outdated, although some rooms have been updated.
I had booked a room with a balcony but was put in a renovated room on the ground floor, the room had patio windows to open but there where also full length bars which prevented you from going out of them. Regardless of not having a balcony, I was not staying in a room with bars on the windows in case of a fire.
They happily moved us to a room with a balcony but this room was in need of renovating.
There was a good choice for breakfast and exceptional service.
We had a car whilst in morocco so the hotel was in a good place for us, but I would say a car is needed as the hotel is out of the town.

Cons:

The bars on the lower bedroom windows.
The swimming pool was cloudy and had bits of rubbish in it so we didn't use it.
As the hotel was empty there where no other lights on in the rooms opposite ours so it felt like we where staying in an abandoned building at night.
