Friendly helpful staff
Pros:

Good location for town Staff friendly. The same staff as last winter they remembered us which says something

Cons:

Needs paintwork touching up here and there but we appreciate that’s always the problem with a property over a century

Could be amazing, but instead feels rundown
Pros:

The proximity to the sea terminal and Douglas centre was great, the coffee machine was a nice bonus, although feel that the owners would be better spending money on the building rather than gadgets.

Cons:

The damp patches in the corner of the room on the ceiling and by the skirting board, the bare plaster around door frames. However the worst thing was the noise from the Wetherspoons next door, it went on until 2.30am and the windows were so bad that it sounded like the people were in my bedroom!!

Great hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel in the heart of Ramsey. Room was large and cosy. Close to all amenities with a Wetherspoons next door. Didn’t have breakfast as an early check out for ferry which was 5 min away. Location was spot on as was the cleanliness

Pros:

24/7 reception room was massive for me as being a solo traveller I got a double bed and decent size bathroom breakfast was really good full english on selection if you wanted hot food

Cons:

A few things in the hotel look a bit outdated apart from that it was really good only one bedside plug if you are travelling as a couple its not so good for charging both phones overnight

Enjoyed my stay and would return
Pros:

Large room, comfy bed, well equipped with coffee machine , hairdryer, iron etc. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location and amazing sea view.

Cons:

Ran out of hot water in evening and morning. No mirror in bedroom except for mirror inside cupboard. Tv kept buffering.

Pros:

The location was great. The place was clean and presentable. We didn't have breakfast because there are lots of cafes on the doorstep, but the eating area looked clean. The bedroom was really spacious and bright

Cons:

Small lift. No one on reception when we arrived. No parking nearby
