Great location
Pros:

Bang central location and lovely views of rhe Promenade and Sea. Bed was comfy and it had a good shower. Rooms are large, sparsely furnished but nice. Nespresso coffee machine in the room, was a nice addition.

Cons:

The receptionist insisting, on check in, we hadn't paid for the rooms. Showed him the receipts, the confirms and he kept saying over and over we haven't been able to take the payment from Booking.com. Told him that wasn't our problem, we've paid for the 3 rooms more than 4mths ago.For you to take it up with Booking.com.com. Ive proved to you we've paid.After 10minutes of the same conversation, I said "I'd speak to management tomorrow", got the keys, got changed rapidly to meet our clients. When we got back downstairs "Its OK, it's all sorted" No other explanation.

Very comfortable and very helpful staff.

No problem changing our room when there was a plumbing problem in our first room.

Although the room was comfortable, the lack of sleep ruined our stay.
Pros:

Bed and pillows were comfortable.
Room was a good size, clean and had a clean and adequate en suite with toiletries and towels. Hair conditioner would have been welcome as that was the one thing I forgot to bring.
Breakfast was good with adequate choices on the buffet.

Cons:

We didn’t get any sleep on both nights due to noise from the next door bar into the early hours and noise from the alley below our windows at back of bar. One of our windows was broken and wouldn’t close. Noise from neighbouring construction site also started very early. The people in the room above us made a lot of noise walking about during the night. The floors are very squeaky.

Pros:

Superb Location , big room 👌

Cons:

Had requested for early check in which was agreed to also but when we arrived well past 3 pm (which was official check in time ), we found the allotted room was not cleaned at all ,left over food was scattered.,..beds were not done up .
But the reception lady was smart enough to immediately change the allotted room and that room was ok.

Pros:

Location is superb,short walk from the Sea Terminal,handy for bus stops & close to the City centre.
Check in was fast & friendly, we were in room 302,a sea front room,great view,clean & comfortable,could have done with a dressing table though,breakfast was excellent & all staff were so friendly & helpful.

Cons:

Having to leave!

Lack of continuous parking. Lack of water pressure of the shower at times. Grubby carpets on the stairs and landings.
Lack of security, my safe wasn’t working and was replaced with a portable unit which was as much use as a chocolate tea pot. Someone managed to get into my room with a key at 1.30 in the morning while I was undressed in bed, which is totally unacceptable. The room was boiling hot and unable to sleep properly. Noise from the side street. Expensive bar prices. The facility seems to be very tired and unloved and most likely a reflection of the owners however the staff were helpful and gave good service.

Nice hotel, in need of an update.
Pros:

Shame about the sleepness nights as hotel was in a great location
Pros:

The location was great and the reception, bar and dining room were nicely decorated and clean

Cons:

The bedroom was dated, shower was cold, bed very very soft and it was really very noisy - very loud music until early hours!!

Great hotel, book a front room!
Pros:

Great staff, (Ugud? was exceptional) fantastic location. We were concerned about finding parking but even though Douglas was busy we didn't have any problems. Large room with comfortable bed, everything supplied including still and sparkling water and a fan to help with the heat. We would stay again but only if we could book a front room.

Cons:

The noise, our room was at the back of the property - backing onto Wetherspoons and a nightclub! I went to reception in the early hours of Sunday morning to ask if we could move rooms the following day but unfortunately the hotel was full. I booked the hotel prior to the feedback informing about the noise problem. The alley below our window stores the beer kegs from Wetherspoons and they also empty their glass bottles there. The bins are emptied around 5am and the street sweeper comes through shortly afterwards! With World Cup also on at the same time, we had a very disturbed few nights.

Excellent value for money, perfect location. We enjoyed our 5 nights stay there.
Pros:

Location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of Douglas, close to shops and the ferry terminal. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable, it was perfect for our needs. The staff were great - helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast - plenty of options to choose from.

Cons:

Nothing in particular comes to mind.
