Nothing much.
There was no hot water,no heater. No Tv.
Host Gila was no where to be found telephonically. She has staff in the lodge yet doesn’t communicate with them about Arriving Guests. She didn’t inform us that the unit didn’t have hot water and good drainage systems. She must improve communication with her staff and guests.
Liked that the owner came to help us out to fix the geaser and was friendly.
The lack of communication from the lodge. The entrance to lodge requires us to go through a security and the security did not want to let us in until someone from Umkhaya lodge would come and escort us. The security and I tried to get hold of someone from Umkhaya for over an hour until the security finally gave up and told us to drive to the entrance of the lodge, which definitely a difficult drive, especially without an escort. Upon arriving the units weren't fully prepared because the owner apparently didn't know we were coming. Alot of things were prepared last minute and it just prolonged getting in the unit and being comfortable.
Once inside, the hot water was Luke warm and difficult to shower in during winter season and only one town was available certain amenities missing.
The rooms are beautiful and very clean.
There is a kitchen, but very little things you need in a kitchen. The place runs on gas geysers, but our units were missing, so no hot water and the unit next door has a gas geyser, but not working. They advertised units as air conditioned, but it had floor air coolers, which made the humidity worse. Only the manager was very helpful. When asking help from workers, we were ignored. Will not return and would not refer anyone.

We waited for an hour at the gate for them to open for us😔 and they told us to open it for our self while they are loins around
I liked the place is very beautiful clean and peaceful
The treatment we received was total bed it even ruined our happiness
