Besides breakfast topic it was completely fine.
Pros:

We asked for a breakfast in the evening, but on the morning we were told that receptionist was not notified, therefore there is no breakfast for us.

Pros:

Très difficile à trouver, l'hôtel est à la bonne adresse mais fermé car la réception est à une autre adresse et rien ne l'indique. Heureusement, nous avons demandé à un jeune homme qui descendait la rue et par chance, c'est lui qui était chargé de recevoir les clients. Il nous a donc enregistrés et conduits à notre chambre. Pas moyen de se restaurer sur place parce que jours de fermeture lundi et mardi. Le mercredi matin, nous avons attendu 8 h pour le petit déjeuner mais rien de prévu pour nous malgré notre demande de la veille.

Very quiet and clean; but on a hill 300m above Bad Wildbad.
Pros:

Auerhahn Nest is super quiet, at least in the low season. The "Nest" building is about 200m from the reception and is very new and exceptionally clean.

Cons:

The criticism is more for Booking.com, which cites the distance from the station as 900m. That may be true "as the crow flies", but it is a vertical climb of 300m and a walking distance of 2+ km (about 50min). Even on the Booking.com map it is not obvious that such a climb is involved. The funicular was in revision, and I did not have a car. If you know in advance that it is in Sommerberg, not Bad Wildbad and have transport (i.e., the funicular is in service), then it is fine.

In order to pick up the key I had to go to the restaurant/reception, surrounded by several signs indicating the restaurant was open. There were people at reception, but the door would not open. The ignored me for several minutes before my friend called to explain I needed to pick up the key. It was fortunate that the staff was there at all, and that I did not end up bivouacking in the forest. In fact, no restaurant was open in Sommerberg, so it was a hungry night.

Sehr zufrieden, gerne wieder
Pros:

Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Sonderwünsche konnten erfüllt werden

Cons:

1 EZ war bei Ankunft noch nicht gereinigt.
Es wurde dann auf Anfrage ein anderes Zimmer vergeben.
Leider war hier noch Badutensilien vom Vorgänger in der Dusche.

Für ein bis zwei Nächte in Ordnung!
Pros:

Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad hatte eine schöne Größe. Positiv empfand ich, dass die Zimmer, von meiner Freundin und mir, durch eine eigene Tür miteinander (verbunden) waren!

Hat soweit gepasst!
