Pros:

It was our first time in Dortmund and we definitely loved this place and will come back.
1. The hotel is located really well, it's just about 10 minutes of a nice walk to get to the city center. Railway is 20 minutes away, so everything is close. The area is safe and nice, there a few supermarkets pretty close.
2. The staff was nice as well. Unfortunately, they didn't speak English, but we used translator to understand each other. The reception works from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. approximately, when we arrived our key was at the reception and we paid the next day, so it was very comfortable.
3. Breakfast was simple but nice: some croissants, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, juices, hot drinks. Of course, some scrambled eggs and pancakes would be cool, but unfortunately hot options are not huge there. Still, the breakfast was delicious. Besides, you can drink tea and coffee for free near the reception, it was very appreciated.
4. Room was spacious enough with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. It's simple but nice, so we enjoyed staying there.

Cons:

Would be really cool to have a refrigerator in the room.

Top Hotel! Am Besten ohne Auto anreisen :)
Pros:

Tolles Bett, perfekte Lage, gutes Frühstück inklusive, nettes Personal, flexibler Check in

Cons:

Dass es keinen kostenlosen Parkplatz gibt und die Parksituation vor Ort wirklich schlecht ist, ist wirklich Schade und hat mich für zwei Tage 34 Euro Tiefgarage gekostet 8 min Fußweg von der Unterkunft entfernt

Gutes Hotel mit angemessenem Service für die Preisklasse.
Pros:

Die Fenster sind sehr dicht, sodass man die halbstarken Vollidioten, die draussen auf dem Ring vorbei fahren, nicht hört.

Cons:

Eine Klimaanlage kann man in dieser Preisklasse nicht erwarten, aber ein Ventilator im Bad, der auch frische Luft von aussen reinzieht, wäre nett gewesen.
