A really pleasant and relaxing hotel
Pros:

Very nice room with balcony and view over the pool - which itself is very lovely. Staff are great, breakfast is wonderful. Nice terrace on which to eat it. There is an on-site restaurant which nobody seems to use but the food was great. Everything very clean.

Cons:

It's a bit out of the town and although they offer six free taxi rides into town it can be a bit limiting and expensive. The a/c in my room didn't really work

Hotel Review – 3 Nights at Madilao Hotel

I stayed at Madilao Hotel for three nights and would like to share my experience in a fair and balanced way.

First, the positive aspects: Overall, the hotel was very clean and well organized. The fitness room was well equipped and maintained, providing a good environment for workouts. The breakfast offered very good value for money and was above average in both quality and selection.

The staff members were consistently friendly and polite.

Cons:

However, many of them were frequently on their phones. With a bit more attentiveness and presence in the guest areas, the service experience could be further improved.

Unfortunately, there were also significant drawbacks. The room had a strong smell of feces, clearly coming from the bathroom. Although everything appeared clean and tidy, this odor persisted throughout the stay and significantly affected the overall comfort.

The swimming pool had cloudy, milky-looking water, which did not create confidence regarding water quality and maintenance.

The bicycles included in the price are a nice idea in principle, but they were in poor condition. Many of them had barely functioning brakes, loose handlebars, and no lights. It required some luck to find one that was reasonably safe to use.

In summary, the hotel has potential. Cleanliness, the gym facilities, breakfast quality, and the friendliness of the staff are definite strengths. However, the issues mentioned above — especially the odor in the room and the condition of the bicycles — should be addressed urgently to ensure a more comfortable experience for future guests.

Everything absolutely amazing!
Pros:

This was the best staying I had this vacation, great breakfast, friendly staff, clean and fresh room, all the facilities, free shuttle t/r to night market, great pool including pool-towels. Thank you!

Great little hotel.
Pros:

Lovely small low rise hotel. Rooms round pool or beautiful garden. Breakfast was good but could have done with a few more European options.

Cons:

Location was very close to the town nut had to do a 20 min trip by shuttle bus to get into town. Times between shuttle bus were too long. Every 2 hours instead of 4 would be better.

Heerlijk, relaxt resort net buiten centrum Luang Prabang
Pros:

Onze kamer was fantastisch, erg ruim met veel opbergplekjes en beweegruimte. Ook de badkamer was tiptop. We hadden een kamer met balkon geboekt waardoor er en plus een adembenemend uitzicht hadden op de bergen :-)

Het zwembad was heerlijk en mijn vriend maakte ook gebruik van de zeer schone fitnessruimte. Dagelijkse schoonmaak is mogelijk, maar dit moet je wel goed aangeven (wijzelf vonden dit niet nodig). Het gratis inbegrepen ontbijt was top. Er was voor ieder wat wils en het varieerde dagelijks. We bleven 5 nachten, maar zouden er zo nog enkele dagen langer gebleven kunnen zijn :-)

Elke vraag werd ontvangen met een vriendelijk gezicht en we werden telkens begroet.

Over de locatie: wij vonden dit 'hotel', zeg maar resort, perfect gelegen. Net buiten het drukke centrum in een rustige omgeving. Maar om het centrum makkelijk te bereiken heb je wel een scooter of fiets nodig (de fietsen kan je gratis lenen bij het hotel en een scooterverhuur bieden ze ook aan), daarnaast rijdt er een paar keer per dag een gratis shuttle naar het centrum dus er wordt alles aan gedaan om de afstand zo min mogelijk boosdoener te laten zijn. Heel fijn!

We hebben genoten hier, echt vakantie!

Best hotel experience I had so far.
Pros:

Excellent. The staff was so friendly, the room was spacious with nice view and modern furniture, the food - so tasty, we never had such experience before.Yes, it is far from the city center but the hotel had free shuttle transportations 3 times a day to and from the hotel, besides, it offered free bike rental. The pool was of perfect size and depth. The guys at the reception and restaurant were very caring and ready to help at any time.

And a bonus for me especially, there were cats in the area, tbh - a paradise for me xD

P. S. A liitle tip if you stay here - the sunset view spot is 4 minutes away, don't miss the chance to enjoy it.

Cons:

There is nothing to dislike here.

Pros:

Spokojny hotel położony za rzeką. Sporo oddalony od ścisłego centrum. Więc po całodziennym zwiedzaniu można było wyspać się w ciszy i spokoju. Hotel posiada rowery i skutery do dyspozycji gości. Kilkakrotnie w ciągu dnia do centrum miasta kursuje też hotelowy bus. Wystarczy wcześniej zgłosić obsłudze. Personel miły i bardzo profesjonalny. Ogólnie pobyt w tym hotelu oceniam bardzo pozytywnie.

Loved this property. Staff were super nice, helped me with everything I needed and even shared some of their year end celebration food with me. Room was very well equipped, very clean, and overall great value. Food
In the restaurant was good as well and the bikes were readily available to ride to town. Only downside is that it’s not that close to the town center, you will have to bike some 15-20 mins to get there or take a taxi (which they will help arrange)
