The manager Pilar is amazing! Very knowledgeable and happy to tell you the best places to eat what ever your preference
Pros:

Loved the building itself, exquisitely decorated with reclaimed old furniture in places. Very tastefully done. Brilliant location.

Cons:

There isn’t any air conditioning but actually the rooms didn’t get overly hot. There wasn’t a safe but again that wasn’t a major minus for me. This is in the middle of a city and like most of Chile, there is a lot of dog barking at night after dark for a few hours.

Wonderful stay in Valparaíso
Pros:

We had a great stay! The location is unbeatable and ideal for walking around and exploring. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was great, and Miss Pilar gave us a map with her personal tips on what to see (and places to avoid) in Valparaíso.

We had a fantastic stay at Augusta Hotel. Pillar gave us a great welcome and provided lots of helpful advice and suggestions for local activities, eating and sightseeing. This hotel is beautiful with very comfortable rooms, amazing views and a yummy in room breakfast. We loved everything about it. Thank you!!

El mejor lugar para alojarse en pleno cerro alegre
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente, en pleno cerro alegre, cercano a cafeterías, bares, galerías de arte, etc.
La habitación es perfecta, muy cómoda, el desayuno perfecto, contundente, bien preparado. La vista al mar y la ciudad preciosa.
El personal muy amable y comprometidos con que nuestra estadía fuera excepcional.

Cons:

El único detalle es el ruido del piso superior (al mover muebles para hacer aseo o personas conversando en terraza). Pero es un detalle, que no empañó nuestra estadía.

A perfect hotel for a safe, quiet, and comfortable stay in Valparaiso.
Pros:

We had a lovely view from our room but if we stayed there again we would have looked for a harbour view. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was practical and the coffee provided was delicious.

The hostess Pilar is a gracious lady and one of the nicest persons I have ever met. Her staff including Rosanna are exemplary. I cannot over-emphasise how holistic this hotel is towards guests.

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially to Europeans who would like to enjoy a safe, quiet, and comfortable stay in Valparaiso, under the guidance and care of the hostess and her staff.

Cons:

I cannot identify a negative point.
