Beautiful old building, spacious and great morning muffins in each room.
No outlets in the bathroom. No tissue paper. No paper towels in Kitchener. Small air conditioner in a different room.

Nothing
Great location.
Poor air conditioning in bedroom. The single AC unit in the kitchen area was not strong enough to also cool off the bedroom. We had to use their fan as well as our own.
The staff were real humans!
Historic & plush!
Despite lacking in some (smaller) lamp lighting + an AC unite that was quite Noisy—My suite—#5 the Daniell—was very comfy.
Very unique, quiet and well cared for. Loved that they provided snacks too.
Didn’t see much of the staff - but it wasn’t really a problem- we knew how to get a hold of them should we need them.
The furnishings were quite exceptional they looked like artifacts from ancient times. Like a scene from a horror movie.
The location of the building. There was this feeling it, like it was a ghost town.
I loved the historic property and main dining and living areas. I'd love to come back with my family and experience the full suite. I was here to ski Mt Bohemia and it was a perfect spot! We had a snowstorm and the staff were very attentive to my needs and snow removal for vehicle access.
I feel like the traveler room I was in could have had a love seat instead of a single chair, and the bed could have been one size larger. However, I was solo, so this was not a very big issue.
If you like historical places this is a nice place to stay.
Very small room, cramped bathroom. Very old.
The place was great with lots of charm and character! Private deck was awesome as well!
Nothing
We did not stay in room # 10 that we booked. We ended up staying 2 nights, we upgraded to the Tamarack Suite for 1 night and the Daniell Suite for the other. Both rooms were beautiful and excellently appointed with antique furniture and shining oak floors. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were spacious and very clean. Nice snack packs and bottles of drinking water were available in both rooms. Both Tyler and Lydia were friendly and very helpful to us by taking care of our needs and requests.
The only issue we had was difficulty in navigating the door code system. The code I was given did not work and I had to ask a member of staff for assistance. It went fine after that with the codes.
Cute, quiet and historical
Historic house with ground floor parlor beautifully cared. Well stocked with snacks, coffee, tea and water.
Entrance needs lighting, tripping hazard.
We appreciated the coffee in the room selection along with the snacks!
The from steps into the manor could be improved.
