Lovely clean rooms, friendly staff and refuge from the heat.
Pros:

I paid more for a non-smoking room. It was very clean and comfortable.

Pros:

The location was perfect for a night stay before taking a boat to the islands in the morning

Cons:

I think some of the conditions of the rooms vary a little bit from what is pictured. Nothing wild, but some typical aging from the time the photos were taken.

Pros:

Le petit déjeuner était convenable, le personnel, prévenant. Piscine de dimensions modestes mais très agréable. Un hôtel également agréable, conçu esthétiquement avec beaucoup ce bois, des plantes, des fleurs. Je recommande.

Cons:

J'ai eu des problèmes de connexion mais je ne sais pas si c'était dû à leur système ou à mon portable.

Pros:

Beautifully designed hotel with antiques and art works in the public spaces.
A very large comfortable room, sound proofed so we didn't hear the morning mosques.
Pool big enough to swim in for exercise. Loungers on the side.
Excellent breakfast.

The manager, Saju, was fantastic. He booked our bus tickets to Bukittinggi, (the bus took us door to door).

Très bon pour le ferry
Pros:

Hotel très bien placé pour prendre le Fast Ferry pour les îles Mentawaï.
Le personnel est très agréable et apporte son aide volontiers.
Les chambres sont très confortables et le restaurant propose une cuisine simple et savoureuse.

Cons:

Le quartier n'est pas un lieu touristique (comme presque toute la ville)
