Staff was so helpful and went beyond the call of duty to make our stay so delightful.
Nothing at all. Loved everything from the location, to the service and the cleanliness, it was the ideal homestay in Batanes.

The only problem we encountered is that the Television has no Connection but that’s not a big Problem to us.

The location. Very close to the airport and town proper. It was right across the beach, perfect spot to watch the sunset.
The smart TV is useless if it can’t connect to the internet. It kept buffering and we weren’t able to watch a full show or program, we reported it but they couldn’t fix the problem. The balcony door wouldn’t lock, and yes we reported and was never fixed. The morning after we arrived the whole property didn’t have any water. It was fixed 2hrs later. The food was a bit salty.
Location, since the property is beach front but still quiet and relaxing. They listened to my every request, To give me room accessible for my senior parents so they placed us on the ground floor. I requested for early check in because of our early flight, they accommodated us right away. The staff are very helpful and they really attend to our needs as guests. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hometel to my friends traveling to Batanes

Nice location as it’s just few steps away from the beach. The facility was clean and tidy. They were responsive regarding our concerns. However, TV wasn’t working and there was no hair dryer in the hotel.

i was told I am not allowed to smoke in the balcony but I insisted anyway the reason I booked it. I can't blame them though for smoke free environment.

Poor WiFi in rooms but honestly not a big deal since the whole purpose of going to Batanes is to disconnect from city life
The facility and staff were Very responsive. The hotel owner was the best. Made lots of good recommendations and followed thru every thing she said. Will most likely stay at Amboy if ever I come back.
I ordered a Thai Squid dinner and they told me it was fresh, but after my first bite, it was hard and not too fresh. Only negative comment I have.
The hotel is located in a quiet part of the island. The sea is just across and can be seen from the balcony of the room. The rooms are very clean and well maintained.
The staff are very friendly and polite. And helpful.
The restaurants are nice.
Overall i enjoyed my stay.
Good location, beach front where you can swim and watch the sun set. There is a garden where you can hang out anytime of the day. The owners are simple and down to earth friendly and staff are very accomodating, will go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and hassle free.
